Hello everyone!

The Asian Cup is about to start!

Here are the hats for the draw:
- Hat 1:
🇻🇳 Vietnam, champions of the last Afro-Asian Cup,
🇯🇵 Japan, finalists in the last Afro-Asian Cup and 1/8 finalists in the 60th VFIFA World Cup,

- Hat 2:
🇹🇼 Taiwan, 3rd in the last Afro-Asian Cup,
🇰🇿 Kazakhstan, quarter-finalists in the 60th VFIFA World Cup,

- Hat 3:
🇱🇦 Laos, quarter-finalists in the last Afro-Asian Cup,
🇺🇿 Uzbekistan, determined using the VF index,

- Group 4:
🇮🇳 India and 🇲🇾 Malaysia.

⚽ Tournament procedure:
In the first phase, there are 2 groups of 4.
Matches will be played in a single match at a random location.
The ranking will be determined by the number of points, goal difference and, if there is a tie, the results of the head-to-head matches.
That's 3 matches each to be played before the deadline: Wednesday 3 June.

We are pleased to welcome 2 English speakers to the competition, Arkajyoti Paul for India, and Ranerl Tan for Malaysia. Please bear this in mind when sending us your private messages.

🇮🇳 INDIA: ATK Mohun Bagan Arkajyoti Paul (ENG)

🇺🇿 UZBEKISTAN: Pakhtakor Tachkent ~©~ Greg83
🇻🇳 VIET NAM: U.S.Groix #AFC enez 🏅 Afro-Asian Cup Winner

At the end of the group phase, the top 2 teams will qualify for the final phase.
The winners of each group will play home in the semi-finals.
The deadline for the semi-finals is: Friday 12 June inclusive.

There will therefore be 1 week left to play the final, the end of season 147 being Friday 19 June inclusive.

➡️ In the event of a tie in any of the matches in the final phase, penalties will be taken.
Please send me 2 sets of 5 shots and 5 saves (Left - Centre - Right) by private message. The point-of-view method is used for penalty kicks, i.e. the shooter shoots from the right, which corresponds to the goalkeeper's left.

Enjoy the competition!!!

India - New Zealand on 09 May

A frustrating draw for NZ in view of their domination...but sterile domination, as India's ATK Mohan Bagan put up a good fight.

Un match nul frustrznt pour la NZ au vue de la domination...mais domination stérile, l Inde de ATK Mohan Bagan a bien résisté

Unfortunately, Arkajyoti Paul couldn't get online in time, I guess because there were no Indian players on the pitch.

This match will be counted as a 1-0 forfeit.

Yes, I've just seen ....
It's been offline for 38 hours ...

However, I realised rather late that he only had 10 Indian players...
I shouldn't have validated his registration, Mea Culpa, but as he's a regular in VFIFA, I don't check the numbers and trust the seriousness of each VFIFA coach.

I've already expressed my disappointment to him by PM ... players have retired, and he hasn't renewed his squad. He's due to promote an Indian in the next few days, normally.

Quite simply, it was the last match in Group 1.

I appreciate that Arkajyoti Paul fielded a 100% Indian team for his last match.
I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that he has apologised profusely in a private message for his failure to turn up for the VFIFA, and the problems that caused. He had a few problems IRL.
It's only a game, the most important thing is real life, and we're all here to have fun and take our minds off things.

⚽ GROUP 1

🇯🇵 JAPAN : Esprit Shōnen FC ~©~ maxence97300
With 4 wins and 12 points, the VFIFA World Champion from season 140 confirmed his status as one of the top seeds.
K. Kanashiki, Magik Kenko aka the double K is still in great form: Japan is the only country not to have taken any goals in this competition.
Japan will play host to Group 2's runner-up in the semi-final.

🇹🇼 TAIWAN: B53 Carnegie’s °hVs° Bayle
After a fine 3rd place finish in the last Afro-Asian Cup, season 145, 藍翼 l'aile bleue has once again reached the semi-finals of a continental cup, thanks to the performance of their strikers.
Taiwanese fans have been delighted with the performances of their VFIFA side ever since Bayle took charge in season 144.

🇱🇦 LAOS: VFIFA - ລາວ LAOS #AFC Leguman
3rd in the group with 7 points and the same goal difference as Taiwan, against whom Laos drew, it was on the number of goals scored that the Laotians missed out on qualification for the finals.
However, the fans had had high hopes... Leguman, who by pure chance won a jackpot of several million at the casino by betting on the number 26 at the roulette wheel (https://www.virtuafoot.com/#forum?topic=169692), had been able to convince some talented players rated 90 by the international authorities to join his VFIFA team by paying them bonuses ...., suggesting that the bonus was not high enough for these players who had come "for the love of the shirt"...
With just 2 appearances at finals in almost 15 years of VFIFA, the bad tongues are beginning to wonder whether the expression beautiful loser might be missing an A .... (LaOSER) ...

🇳🇿 NEW ZEALAND: Floblack FC °hVs° floblack
A win due to an opponent's forfeit ...
We've seen better days from the All Whites.
No doubt floblack will be able to remobilise his troops for the next VFIFA World Cup ...
Because kiki sainté, the other assistant coach of the New Zealand national team, is lying in ambush ...

Kenko Kanashiki, the double K, is now just our understudy in the Japanese goal. In fact, his pupil has overtaken the master, and he is now his eternal replacement and now the first-choice keeper. Make way for double M, Moschiashi 🤩😇

⚽ GROUP 2

🇰🇿 KAZAKHSTAN BP ♡ Kokbori FK Aguado
After a long period away from international matches, Aguado is back at the helm of the Kazakh national team.
Aguadov, as he is known in his homeland, has raised hopes by finishing top of Group 2.
Tickets for the semi-final, at home against Taiwan, sold out in just a few hours!

🇻🇳 VIET NAM: U.S.Groix #AFC enez
[Enez[/b], the holders of the continental title, logically qualified for the semi-finals.
However, by finishing second, Vietnam will travel to Japan for a match that promises to be spectacular, as it is a rematch of the last final!

🇲🇾 MALAYSIA: Chubby Bear FC-FVF Ranerl Tan (ENG)
By finishing with 3 points, Malaysia are proud of their VFIFA coach, Ranerl Tan, who is helping his country progress on the international stage every season.

🇺🇿 UZBEKISTAN: Pakhtakor Tachkent ~©~ Greg83
For his very first appearance in a VFIFA competition, Greg83 was unlucky with the mdc (calendar engine ^^).
3 matches = 3 trips ... a sort of hazing to discover the other countries of the continent.
Welcome back :)
You have to look on the bright side, with 0 points, you can only progress!

Japan lived up to its status as favourites in the final and eventually won 2–0 in a tough match, Kazakhstan held out for a long time, but the opening goal finally came in the 75th minute following several Japanese substitutions. This was followed by a back-and-forth battle that culminated in a late counter-attack in the 90th minute, sealing the 2-0 victory.
Man of the match was the experienced Fukumuro, who came on in the 67th minute and scored the decisive brace.
