I don't know if it's strictly speaking a bug, if it's perhaps or even undoubtedly players generated by the game, but there's a veritable flood of clone players called Pelé

They've almost all got a 98 rating and they're almost all between 28 and 30.
And almost all of them have a stamina rating of 25.
Many of them belong to inactive clubs.

And if you look a little harder, there are quite a few others at 90 and above, and there's even one with an NG of 99.

Where do all these players come from and are they generated by the game?

On closer inspection, I also found 27 Z. ZIdane who are between 29 and 31 years old and who all have between 94 and 96 of NG and with almost all the same distribution of note and an endurance either 20, or 25

Is this spontaneous generation?

I noticed the same thing when I arrived at the game with the Stremer players (no first name), all Swedish, all in the same age and NG range...

And to be honest I almost made a post about it, Star Wars: Attack of the Clones style, before giving up after an unfortunate refresh. So you have my full support 💪

Yes, "antique" players have been offered to inactive players for about 2 seasons now.

It doesn't matter whether they're called Litmanen, Pelé or Zidane, but the problem is that with the current settings, you get a very good youngster out of your CDF, like in 83-84, or you buy one for a fortune at the transfer window, Then you work like crazy to train him over several seasons and in the end you get a player who will never have the level or the stamina of the self-generated players who invade the database and are distributed somewhat indiscriminately and who can sometimes even be bought for 100 KB by an accomplice of the club receiving the gift.

Nobody is against helping new clubs, but as is too often the case in this game, there is a problem of dosage (or rather overdosage!).

Training is one of the souls of the game and it's what keeps some of them going,

Once and for all, could the game's settings be fair, balanced and stabilised?

What's admirable is that some of the inactive people who received them are active again just long enough to put them up for sale lol

Of course, with 6 players per club in a fortnight, we quickly become overcrowded, and there's also the problem of clubs logging on every fortnight to recover a player through inactivity and selling him on.

Stremer, Huylens, Minanda, Castolo, Espimas and consort are players available on the VF store for level 1s who want a team that's not as bad as the free ones they have when they sign up.

These are the default player names when you start a Master League on PES, PES2, PES3, PES4 and PES6.

As for the rest, as explained above, these are legendary players created to be given as gifts to managers who have abandoned their accounts in order to encourage them, via an e-mail, to come back and have a look at VF...
