To be honest, this isn't a bug but an oversight on my part.
Last season I wanted to extend the loan of this player to my fellow club :

What a surprise when I realised I'd put in 3 seasons instead of one 😅
Is there any way of shortening the loan or is it definitely dead? Because the player is trained and will be of no use to my mate .

If not, too bad for me, I know it's my fault!

We can't shorten the duration of a loan; we don't have the tools to do that.
