9 months agoI wanted to get your opinion and some information on match tactics. I'm playing a friendly match and I'm trying to see how the engine reacts to changes in instructions.
As far as we know in the "tactical manual", playing styles favour a particular sector and award bonus points depending on the over-trained characteristics of the players.
So in my example I was in 'Normal' with 160 pts in attack, at one point I wanted to try Jeu direct to try and boost the attack but it dropped me to 90.
Knowing that all the styles made me lose negative points. Maybe that's why you'd say, but in that case, is it better not to play with any style at all?
Because I know it's possible - it's been said on the forum that you can play 2-5-3 in the trap style of offside and still get 400 pts in defence ... the style of play boosts your sector. I don't think there's enough explanation in the manual about bonus points either.

9 months agoThe direct game demands power in overtraining
Overdrive means that power is not taken into account when calculating the ng.
for example, a classic mdc spends 50/def25/technique 25 and has 25 power next to it,...as the mdc has absolutely no need of power, these 25 points will boost the style (the ratio is not 100%...from memory, 99 in a stats gave around 67 points in the style).

9 months agoThis is because inactive clubs often have players with points spread all over the place.
