Virtuafoot is just a mathematical game with football concepts, but it lacks several key IRL factors to get close to it. I can say that because I've been a coach for nearly 40 years, and at all 'levels'.

In 2009 I tried to explain the improvements that needed to be made to get closer to IRL and nobody ever replied. Although several people explained to me at the time that virtuafoot was a game based mainly on mathematics and probability...

maybe things have changed and evolved over the last 17 years, but personally, I've just noticed a little less probability and I find that my experience as a coach handicaps me more in terms of my results.

For me, Virtuafoot is more like the football of the 1970s and 80s.
