The club's accountant informed me a few days ago that we'd received a cool €2k from the Federation, and we're unable to justify why. In order to avoid any raised eyebrows from the board, we're asking for your help.

Attached are two captures of the said transfer of funds, as well as what the accountant and I wish to avoid.

By any chance, would you have promoted a player from your cdf, or sent your recruiter to a country, or gone to a country to do scouting?

To add to what Demi said: a federation president can grant discounts (e.g. -10%) for the promotion and detection of players from his nation. Except that instead of paying the -10% rate directly, you pay 100% and the federation pays you the difference.
