24 hour bid but free player side.

1 hour before the end, the player left for another 24 hours of bidding.
So I bid again and the auction was due to end this morning at around 7.50am and then it was back on again for another 24 hours.
I have several players with the same problem.
Does anyone have an explanation?

He's retiring at the end of the season. I don't think you can get him by auction, because we couldn't last season, or else he's a newcomer.

What's the point of putting players up for auction if you can't recruit them?

We can buy him to put him on staff, I've never understood the problem that he's not one of the old ones.
He's got one season left, so he can still play.
Your problem, Ludo, is that the transfer is blocked because of his age, so I agree with you, why put him up for auction?

Nobody put it up for auction, it's an automatic manipulation that happens when you try to recruit a freelancer who has a higher level than that tolerated for real freelancers.
