For a few days now I've been getting surprises on my auction prices. For example :

For a player at 100k when I made my bid, I thought I would bid 200k but no, the bid is set at 800k.

It's the same with me and other managers, which leads me to believe that it's widespread.

If I may say so, potential isn't everything. In my case the player did indeed have great potential but he had a very low NG (NG<30) and he was almost 30 years old. So going from 100k to 800k in this case seems pretty huge to me.

So I think it takes so much of the charm out of auctions, it's crazy. Auctions used to be great, you had to be there to win and be good.
I think it's a very sad evolution of the game.

Have there been many other changes to the game? There was news to go with the changes.

I'm really disappointed by this development. Opinions will differ. But you lose the raw interest of an auction.
And I'm not talking about the sellers, I'm not sure they're going to win.

I'd add that if it's an evolution, the minimum would be to communicate. You can be for or against it, personally I'm against it but that's just an opinion, but discovering it from one day to the next isn't a great gaming experience. I think it's happened several times now and I think it's a shame.
