47 days agoHello, I would like an answer to the following questions:
1- Is the impact of a DFC marking on a striker a percentage (%) or a fixed drop in overall score?
2- Is there a formula for calculating the impact of a mark?
3- Does scoring have the same impact on attacking midfielders as it does on strikers?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

46 days agoHello,
I imagine that the answers are known, but that nobody has really taken the time to answer.
Marking an attacking player (striker or midfielder) will reduce his attacking rating by a certain percentage depending on the defender's marking characteristic (unfortunately I don't know the calculation in question).
In fact, marking an attacking midfielder will reduce his attacking contribution but will have no impact on his impact in midfield.
And choosing to mark an opponent with a defender will lower the latter's defensive rating, so it's a double-edged sword: with a big marking defender, you neutralise an opposing ATC (for example) but you lower your team's overall defensive rating. And an offensive MDC can't be countered, for example.
What's more, I don't think marking affects style of play.
That's about all I know about marking.
