You don't have enough Ivorian players in your team.
In the VFIFA competition, matches have to be organised as friendlies, and you have to field players from the nation represented exclusively.
To recruit, you can use transfers and auctions (use the "detailed search" button to filter by nation), or even free players.

On the other hand, I'd like to inform you that if two nations are entered for a competition, there are knockout rounds.
I'm telling you this because there's already someone for Cote d'Ivoire (F.A.C ¤LA¤ Lova Acero).

If you ever want to try your hand at a 'free' nation, I can provide you with a list of busy nations.

11 players is really the minimum.
16 is better, so you can make your 5 changes in matches.
An extra 1 or 2 players to deal with injuries and suspensions is comfortable.

If you don't have an 11-man squad by the 5 January deadline, your entry will not be taken into account.
