2 tháng trướcHello A45
On mobile, the display of commas is a disaster – you can’t tell whether you’re pulling ahead or getting thrashed. Could you remove them?
Whilst you’re tweaking the match graphics, could you please look into the possibility of displaying XG figures during the match? In real life, managers have access to this data in real time, so it would make sense to have it here too! Perhaps that would help avoid complaints on the MdM?

7 ngày trướcHi Aymeric,
Would it be possible to bring back the live xG figures? You mentioned wanting to help people understand things in real time, and this should help with that.

2 tháng trướcIt’s not a matter of opinion, it’s a matter of knowledge; by exporting match data and compiling it, we can analyse it without actually seeing it, based on the players’ positions.

2 tháng trướcYou can only assess them if two plays by the same team (chance/goal/foul) are close enough together. It’s perfectly possible to have a play with a 0.15xG value and not have a chance, goal or foul, for example.

2 tháng trướcYes, but that means the data is very incomplete at the moment. You can only really assess a small proportion of the news stories

2 tháng trướcIf you can remember where you were positioned in the 64th minute of the match that led to a chance – even though sometimes it was the action in the 63rd minute that set it up – well done.
For me, beyond the post-match analysis (which is certainly possible but potentially imperfect), it’s the analysis during the match that interests me as a complement. And that’s only possible with a real-time display of XG.

It’ll never get rid of them completely, that’s for sure, but would it soften the sound? Especially now that you’ve experienced both versions?

That said, I’m totally behind your idea

2 tháng trướcI think you’re being a bit naive on this one, Alo...As proof, none of the whingers have turned up on your thread... Whatever improvements are made, they’ll behave in much the same way time and again, and will attract all those who need to moan about their league match or IE, or often about friendlies lost the night before against an AFK player.
That said, just like Galy, I’m not against your suggestion… Comma or no comma, it won’t change the way I approach the game.

2 tháng trướcNaive? I don’t know – it’s possible!
What I do know is that, in any case, whatever happens, nothing will achieve unanimous support. So if a significant proportion of Vfo members share this view, there’s nothing to stop it. The problem then is the question of the majority: indeed, there’s no guarantee that the majority would be in favour. But that would be a never-ending debate.

2 tháng trướcI’m fully in favour of Aloisio’s suggestion.
Commas clutter up the display and don’t make the text any easier to read. 100 or 100.7 – it’s all the same.

2 tháng trướcxG or not, the problem will always stem from the minority who cry foul, rather than the silent majority...
Even if there are only 1,000 of us active members, or even 500 or 200, the 20–30 or even 50 managers who are shouting will think they represent the majority because the others aren’t speaking out (or are being disparaged because they’re accused of not being able to explain this or that ‘carrot’).

2 tháng trướcActually, I’ve noticed the new change with the comma after ‘me’. It doesn’t bother me personally; it doesn’t change anything about the game or the analysis. Whether there’s a comma or not, the main thing is to have fun.
Ultimately, it’s up to A45 to decide. Even if the game isn’t perfect with the MDM and so on, if he wants to, he can just press the ‘off’ button and he’ll be left in peace.
If I were in his shoes, I’d sell a million copies of the game and make the most of it. Mind you, it all depends on the app’s revenue, of course. 😉

I’ve noticed that the interface has changed in terms of the app’s layout for the ‘Physical’ tab – is that right?
But as for the decimals – although they’re a bit better, I think – they’re not always legible.
