Well, I'd just banned myself from the VFO 😅 but for the occasion, and the live show brought to us by Colombpal (thanks to him 🙏), I'm getting out of my hole and putting down my annual paving stone 📜.

I picked up the game 4 years ago. The game has changed a lot and continues to take a turn that I would describe as "Bridging".

All aspects of the game seem to be gradually nerfed (michbou, ask Google what that means 🤓).

Many of us are here for the training and/or tactical aspect ⚽. But it has to be said that there's not much left to do in those areas....

Some changes have pleased some people 👍, others less 👎, but they all go in the same direction = limiting our possibilities in the game.

🔹 TACTICAL

**-Decrease in the impact of styles
Little by little we're reducing the impact... and soon we'll lose their interest 😕. Yet they were already limiting and counterproductive.

-Stats penalty if you intervene in a match

-Reduction (or even murder) of goals.

I'm not necessarily a fan, but it was an interesting tactical option that could be used. Today, it's useless.

-Disappearance of XGs during the match (in French)

You could choose to use them or not, but why remove them? 🤔 Let's leave the choice, like 3D.

-Impossibility of fielding 5 strikers

Another option gone...

🔹 TRANSFERS

-Restore tables

Imbuvables for managers , not at all in line with the market.

-Taxes and deadlines all over the place.

This limits buying and selling enormously. The idea is to get money out of the game, ok... but it also reduces the means of development for small, motivated clubs.

-Affinity

An interesting tactical concept 👌 but one that has completely destroyed transfers... especially for older players who have to adapt for 1 whole season .

🔹 CDF

-Number of detections nerfed

Why? Even if I've never done one, how is it a problem that an ultra-invested player ⏳ finds better youngsters than someone who clicks 3 times/season?

-Recruiter > Detection

A recruiter (or a simple U17 tournament) brings back better youngsters, in one click .

-Regression to 30 years

The latest innovation... So why not add reg30s to match the VFstore, but why so many? This weekend we're at over 80% reg30...
We form 7 seasons to enjoy 6?

🔹 TRAINING

-The earlier players come out, the worse they'll be.

Why? We wanted to diversify the ages, ok, but a player trained 56 days longer would therefore be less good? Strange logic...
👉 Give me back my crazy J1 with 17-year-old releases everywhere and a transfer market on fire!

No more old-fashioned curves

Today all players train the same... monotonous . Give me back the Loga, the Expo, what an era! 😍

-No more leverage

Playtime is insignificant, EC stocks impossible... What are we left with? Click once a day on an EC...

**-EC restriction

No more manual % dosing... we just click stupidly, and if we go over, we get XP back. Don't think too much about it.

-Introduction of "Medical Visit" and "Delay ".

OK for reality, but... it's a game! Who enjoys seeing their player randomly punished for being late? 😑

🔹 OTHER

-Donation of funds to agreements

3 pts max per friendly
Much slower progress for newbies and the grail level 7. We used to progress 10pts by 10pts

-VFO
Even now, we feel restricted... we don't dare express ourselves or tease. (Well, that doesn't really concern me 😏).

To sum up :

I've made some quick notes but I'm sure I've forgotten a few things. Almost all of these nerfs came about as a result of a complaint from ONE isolated manager or to prevent abuse by another... Result: everyone is penalised, and our freedom to play is being reduced day by day.

The game seems too hard/long for newcomers, but too boring/leverless for old/regular players.

So I'm opening the debate 💬 am I the only one who sees things this way, or can we work with the MDJ to find solutions?

I'm not saying it's all bad, I've made a list, and quite a few changes help the admins, but as a manager, I don't feel like I'm doing much for the game any more...

(The "if you don't like the game anymore, you can stop" won't help 🙃).

Signed an old nostalgic who wants to have fun

As I have always said and defended with conviction and respect. We need to re-establish the old Version in terms of training, as well as the three curves (loga, kiné and expo).
Personally, if a club doesn't have the means or simply doesn't want to invest in the blind on principle, it has become complicated for everyone to earn money and help these youngsters progress. We all have an IRL life outside the game, but I get the impression that this new version is designed more for those who have IRL time.
And I agree with you about buying and selling.
But, as you've seen, there's already been a lot of improvements over the years, so I don't think that's going to be on the agenda 😅 although I dare to hope so, because having fun with a game should be what drives our favourite GMs!

J’ai repris le jeu il y a maintenant 4 ans. Le jeu a beaucoup changé et continue de prendre un virage que je qualifierais de « Bridage » .

Tous les aspects du jeu semblent peu à peu être nerfés (michbou, demande à Google ce que ça veut dire 🤓).

Nous sommes beaucoup à être ici pour l’aspect formation ...

You have summed it up very well, the few members who are still fighting to get 1vf say free are no longer counting on 2 hands, everything is becoming complicated and thank you for this presentation which sums up what the silent community thinks.

Yet another open letter to Aymeric or pleas about his game! But in the end, what's left? Not much, because the willingness to communicate or answer questions about the game has always been inadequate, if not virtually non-existent. And yet a lot of things would be clearer or more understandable for all managers, but you have to accept that or resign yourself to it!
For my part, I deplore the fact that this inexorable decline in the game is due to a lack of futility and ease - in short, important elements for a game whose essential aim is the pleasure it provides.

I completely disagree about the CDF. I've never had a single youngster, even a lousy one, come through an U17 tournament, and as for my scout (90 rating), he hasn't produced a player with 78 or more in several seasons. So detection is still by far the best way of getting quality juniors, unless you're lucky.

Je n'ai jamais eu un seul jeune, même nul, venant d'un tournoi U17, et quant à mon recruteur (90 de note) il m'a pas sorti un joueur avec 78 ou plus depuis plusieurs saisons. Donc la détection reste, de très loin, le meilleur moyen d'avoir des juniors de qualité, à moins d'avoir de la chance

A radical change would be best, trying to be close to reality doesn't necessarily make the game attractive to new entrants I completely agree with the topic launched, it would perhaps limit some being tempted to cheat 😉

I agree that the more you restrict and stereotype players, the more boring the game becomes.
Marking was a good idea, but in a reasonable way (players with 99 markings is nonsense), like players who are totally unbalanced to gain in instructions, it's a shame every time we start with a good idea...
Yes to players with more different profiles but for that perhaps we should review the calculation of the ng in a reasonable way, in particular why full-backs wouldn't have attacking points and be able to score.
