I’m colour-blind. YES, it’s true.
Since the latest updates, some displays have become a bit of a nuisance.
For example, on Android (but not on a PC), in my list of players, yellow cards are shown with a very thin, almost invisible transparent square (the same colour as the background) and red cards with a black square.
Is this down to my colour blindness? Or is it a bug? Or is it a setting on my phone that’s wrong?

Generally speaking, for colour-blind people (and even for those with normal colour vision), it would be good to have a settings tab where you could choose specific display colours for text, backgrounds, etc. (a bit like the colour options when you design a kit).

There’s been a nice revamp of the look of some screens recently, but for colour-blind people like me, some things have become really hard to see.
Would it be possible to have an option to customise the display colours?

And yet, it’s a real struggle when you post your list of your own players against a zebra-striped background, and you’re practically having to guess your way through, reading every other line, because your player’s name blends in (at least for me) with the background colour.

I’m colour-blind too, and I think it’s closer to 8 per cent of the population – 1 in 12 men and 0.4 per cent of women – 1 in 200.

Personally, I can’t tell the difference between green and red, or most shades in between.

On the board with 9 squares and therefore 9 numbers, I can’t see ANY of them.

Until there’s an option to choose a different colour scheme for the display, some French-speaking players are unfortunately forced to play blind or almost blind, straining their eyes to make out what’s written on certain screens in the game.

It’s important to realise that there are several types of colour blindness and varying degrees of impairment, depending on the cones in the retina.
The worst form is total achromatopsia (which a member of my family has): you only perceive things as if they were in a black-and-white photograph.

Generally speaking, the more distinct a colour is, the easier it is to make out, but when displays use pastel colours or there’s a gradient between what’s on screen and the background, it’s a nightmare to read.

Je n'aimais pas se truc à l'école puis à l'armée je ne vois aucun chiffre.
A l'armée c'est passé car Le militaire des 3j a l'époque je le connaissais bien d'ailleurs un gros % de la caserne pour preuve mes 3jours on durait quelques heures. 😁
N'empêche que je ne vois aucun chiffre.
Mais je mettais des balles quasiment collé au même endroit à 400m pendant mes classes et mes 2 ans armée

C'est daltonien pour les couleurs secondaires que l'on ne m'a jamais apprises.
Rouge jaune bleu rose blanc noir ect... je vois des que c'est violet, beige ect...
M'a vu était excellente car on m'a proposé me diriger vers les snipers
Mais les rondes de notre ami je ne vois pas les chiffres ou peu
Avec l'âge j'ai une réponse j'ai œil droit qui vois très loin l'autre très près.
Œil gauche un jour je me suis levé et je voyais comme de l'eau sur une parois de douche.
De point de vu d'un spécialiste
En faite enfant j'ai eu un gros choc à la tête le cerveau a compenser ma vision œil droit sur développement de vision de loin je voyais les panneaux autoroute bien plus loin pour exemple
Œil gauche vision normale alors qu'il est abîmé .
La cortisone fait croire au cerveau qu'elle prenait le relais donc il ne s'est plus occupé de compenser.
J'ai du mettre une lentille dans oeil pour avoir une vision normale mais œil droit reste pas mal de loin
Peut être que ça alterné les couleurs secondaires

Pour revenir au sujets initial avant une négociation était rouge ça saute aux yeux.
La je dois faire gaffe qu'il y est écrit 1 car je prête pas attention.
Les couleurs actuelles des fonds écran dans message, négociation et autres prennent le dessus sur de qui est marqué à l'intérieur
Bizarrement message , ma banque pas de problème négociation plus difficile à voir

J'ai fait voir à 2 collègues 2 sur 5 voient les chiffres

As for me, I discovered I was colour-blind when I was about 8 or 9, whilst playing ‘Mastermind’, when I realised I was always mixing up green and brown – and to me, they were just one colour

Eh ben, on a un paquet de Dalton sur VF. Reste plus qu'à les classer du plus petit au plus grand, puis trouver des pyjamas rayés pour tout le monde.

It’s difficult to identify the colours in a painting because they blend together to create a new one

Are there any plans for this improvement, which I don’t think would require much development and would simply be:
the option to choose your own display colour scheme (at least for the text) so that you can play comfortably, as this hasn’t been possible for some time now.
