Hi, no one knows the answer yet. We’ve had a teaser – let’s wait until it’s officially launched with all the details before asking any questions; for now, we can only speculate ;)

Aymeric replied on the French Discord server that both teams will be taking part.
He also added, regarding the choice between Team Blue and Team Red, and I quote: “The choice will be automatic. They’ve already been decided.”

I have a question:
Regarding the rewards, will all team members (whether on the red or blue team) be rewarded as long as they’ve clicked ‘PARTICIPATE’, or will only those who actually take part (by scoring at least one goal in an Inter-Entente match) be rewarded?

If you take part and don’t score a goal, you won’t be in the top 75 per cent, so you’ll only receive 25 per cent of your team’s total budget and you won’t get the bonus for your players.

By the way, will even goalkeepers, defenders and midfielders receive the +5 in attack?

It’s going well – I’ve already played five matches and scored 11 goals.

It’s a bit of a shame… that’s the little bit of IE that’s left in some contracts. And the +5 should have been a more flexible stat, like +5 in goalkeeping for goalkeepers, in defence for defenders, passing for midfielders…

It was on the cards. If you’ve played your IE cards before, that’s your problem.

I’m not quite sure I understand – what happens if, in the IE match, two red teams face each other?
If they both play with virtually no defenders and the final score is 8–6, does that mean 14 goals for the red team?????

There is no indication of a difference in points between the reds and the blues.

It’s simply two separate teams, each with their own league table; a red or a blue team could just as easily score 6 or 7.

A maximum of 10M, so a big change from the first objective...

Perhaps there could be a mystery prize for the team with the most goals.

Why would anyone cheat? We’re competing against our own team-mates for the prize money.

It’s already Day 18 – if the blue team has already played 30 per cent of its IE matches whilst the red team has only played 5 per cent, isn’t that a bit unfair? (Just a random figure)

Couldn’t it have been based on a limited number, with both teams having the same amount?

It’s a bit of a shame it didn’t start on Day 1 or that it isn’t backdated to cover the IEs already played, so we could all take part.

I’ll speak up for my own side, but I’ve finished my IEs so I won’t be taking part in this event… it’s a shame.

And as for the stat boosts, to be honest I’m not a big fan – it’s going to create gaps, especially amongst the younger players, whilst some are giving up 80/100m to get the best ones and it all comes down to a single point. And then that bloke will come across an AFK player with free slots and get +5 across his whole team 🤨

Never mind, as is often the case, it’s all down to timing on VF

Yes, the stats are a bit odd.
Not to mention that if it’s +5 to attack, it’ll seem strange to assign it to a goalkeeper or a defender. And if you’re planning to use the VFstore reallocation feature, it’ll be a waste of time, as reallocation costs around 4 or 5 points.

Rather than having +5s or low-level players, I would have preferred to have a young player at pot83+ or even a 25-year-old at 80ng; I think that would have kept everyone happy.

It’s a shame I’ve already done my IE for 13 goals scored 🤨 Why launch it in the middle of the season…

I forgot to mention that the special prize will only be awarded to the winning team.

The registration process should have started one week before and the event start time should have kept 1st September, 0:00h.

As far as I’m concerned, a community-wide objective should include the WHOLE community – whether that’s competitors, trainers or people who play in between. That’s not the case here; it leaves a huge number of people on the sidelines.

So the overall prize will be awarded to everyone in the winning team – meaning even those who didn’t actually play will get it, won’t they?
On the other hand, those who deliberately choose to play without any coordination are clearly being short-changed.

I’ve already played 9 IEs :( We can’t do it next season :(

Hello, as I joined my league on Tuesday, I can’t sign up. However, the rules for the challenge don’t specify that you have to have joined the league before it starts (players do have to have joined our club beforehand, yes, but there’s nothing about this...). Is this a bug? Is there any way I can sign up?

It’s a shame for those who’ve already played their inter-club matches; they should reset all players’ match counts to 10.

I won’t even tell you what a nightmare it was trying to find an IE match in Division 5! 😅

I would have done the Red Team proud: I scored 12 goals in 3 matches last time. 😁
