3 s önceHello everyone,
Registration is now open for this year’s D2 IS Cup!
The organisers for this edition will be:
Zendo FC °L7C°
Registration:
Only the team manager or club chairman is authorised to register their team for the IS Cup. To register, please state “Read and approved” along with the team manager’s name and the team’s name. If you sign up, you must ensure you are able to participate until the end. You must be able to fit 6 IS matches into your schedule. These 6 IS matches are guaranteed by the competition (except in the event of a walkover or walkovers beyond the organisers’ control). NO IS MATCHES OUTSIDE THE COMPETITION MAY BE PLAYED.
The competition must take place in a spirit of camaraderie. Any insults, disrespect, or other actions or words intended to denigrate a person or a team are strictly prohibited on all platforms. Failure to comply will result in sanctions against the team (which may include disqualification).
Should a team withdraw without providing a valid reason to the competition organiser, that team will not be permitted to participate in the next edition.
The VF rules regarding IS apply to all matches in the competition
In the event of non-compliance with these rules, team managers may lodge a complaint with the organisers via private message. If the complaint is upheld, the match will be forfeited. The match must, however, continue as normal. If a match is forfeited or declared a walkover, the new score will be 1–0 against the offending team. Furthermore, the organisers are in contact with the administrators regarding these matches. It is therefore not necessary to contact them; we will take care of it.
In the event of a walkover, a match forfeited by default, or failure to meet deadlines, the offending club will be penalised, in addition to the 1–0 loss, with an extra red card which may count towards the group stages, or a change of venue (an away match for the offending club) in the knockout stages. If a club is at fault in a second match in the competition, the club will have 1 point deducted for the group stages.
Competition format:
- The competition format for D2 will be announced by the organiser depending on the number of entrants. The draws will be conducted using online software to ensure transparency. The draw results will be published by the organisers. Should you have any objections, please contact the organiser directly via private message. Two sister clubs may not face each other in the group stage.
- The dates for each stage of the competition will be provided by the organisers. In the event of a delay, team managers are invited to discuss the matter with the organiser so that a solution can be found, or so that any sanctions may be imposed on one or both team managers. (Both, if they are both at fault in this regard).
- In the event of a tie on points at the end of the group stage/championship, the tied teams will be ranked as follows:
Overall goal difference
Best attack
Fair play (A fair play ranking will be compiled with each update from one of the organisers)
Head-to-head goal difference (Goal difference, but only from the head-to-head match between the two teams tied)
Penalties (A series of 5 shots and 5 saves must be submitted to one of the organisers. For each shot/save, the manager must specify whether the player/goalkeeper shoots/dives to the right, centre or middle)
- In the event of a draw during the knockout stages (quarter-finals, etc.), both team managers must send a series of 5 shots and 5 saves to one of the competition organisers as soon as possible after the match.
Further information:
- The fixture list and league tables will be compiled using a Google spreadsheet, but will be viewable directly on the VForum and also available via Discord
- A Discord server specifically for the competition is available to everyone. https://discord.gg/dmh9wxR7PK
- If the venue for a match is accidentally reversed, you must contact an Admin to request that the match be reversed. Please note that this does not mean the match will be reversed or cancelled! In fact, the administrator may not necessarily have time to deal with it. In this case, the match will therefore have to be played as normal.
TAB explanations:
- For shots: If a player shoots to the right, the ball simply goes to the right.
- For saves: Saves are made from the goalkeeper’s perspective; in other words, if the opponent shoots to the right (from the goalkeeper’s point of view), the goalkeeper must dive to the left to save the shot.
Here is an example of a penalty shoot-out:
Team A’s penalties: G – C – D – C – D
Team B’s saves: G – C – G – D – C
Team B’s penalties: D – D – C – G – D
Team A saves: G – G – C – C – C
Team A wins the penalty shoot-out 3–2.
At the end of the first round, if the score is still level, the two coaches must submit another round of 5 shots and 5 saves to the organiser. This second penalty shoot-out will be played as ‘sudden death’, meaning that the first team to score and save a penalty wins the shoot-out.
As a reminder, the VF regulations concerning IS matches shall prevail for any appeals regarding the league table. Anything specific to the IS Cup will have no bearing
