That’s true, but they’ve been at my club for months – aren’t even players like that eligible for the endurance training camp? I can understand that for players on loan, given the abuses that have taken place, and the same goes for new signings during the current season, but in this case I wouldn’t understand it – given that they were on loan, they weren’t able to take part in the training camp.

And why on earth wouldn’t they be?

I’ve got the same problem with three of my youngsters I’ve just picked up… Not only are they no longer eligible for the event at the host club, but if they’re also ineligible once they’re back with us… not to mention that we can no longer terminate a loan early. What’s the point of loaning players these days, given the restrictions on this aspect of the game?

Would it also be possible to change this restriction for loan returns during the season? As I mentioned earlier, as players no longer benefit from the endurance training camp whilst on loan, there is no reason why they should not be eligible for the camp once they return to the club, given that this is currently blocked and loan recalls are also blocked.

It’s a bit of a nuisance – I’m actually waiting for a player to return from loan so I can carry out my work placement, as they can no longer benefit from it at the club they’re on loan to. There’s no point in loaning out youth players then. It’s all well and good wanting to fix a loophole, but it shouldn’t end up being unfair @aymeric45.
