While we're on the subject of sponsors, it would be a good idea to introduce a wider variety of objectives with a greater degree of modulation of bonuses.
For example:
For the championship :

• win
• finish on the podium
• ensure we stay up
  Champions League and Vffa Challenge:
• win
• reach the quarter-finals
• reach the 1/16 finals
• get out of the group
  and so on.
  We could also have 2 sponsors, a main one and a secondary one offering 1/3 of the main sponsor's bonus.

• sortir des poules
  Etc,...

On pourrait aussi avoir 2 sponsors, un principal et un secondaire qui offre 1/3 de la prime du sponsors princ...

In other words, championship bonuses already exist, more or less, via the bonuses offered to the top 3 finishers.

I've never understood and probably never will understand the point of regulating gambling money to such an extent.

I think the sponsor's variable part is far too large. A sponsor should pay 50% automatically at the start of the season and the rest based on the objectives achieved at the end of the season.

There has been quite a lot of money distributed via the community objective, so it's probably linked.

Yes, it's gone up a lot, I have 32 good players who used to pay me 200 K a week now they pay me 400, so that's less than 2 M difference over a season, which is peanuts.
Compared to a sponsor that loses 10 million euros...... or a community objective that was supposedly announced as a recurring one but was forgotten after an insane windfall paid out once to almost all the clubs.
