The continental trophy cabinet shines brightly: Ten stars have already adorned the shirts of Eight nations, with the Atlas Lions dominating on three occasions.

This 11th edition of the tournament is preparing to welcome African federations and, exceptionally, nations from outside the continent, depending on entries. However, absolute priority remains reserved for the selections of "Mama Africa".

-Group phase: 3 pools of 6 teams.

- Allocation: The 3 non-continental Nations are separated in each group.

- Final phase: The 1st in each group qualify for the Poule d'Or. There they will battle it out to decide the Grand Champion of this year's competition.
