Virtuafoot is just a mathematical game with football concepts, but it lacks several key IRL factors to get close to it. I can say that because I've been a coach for nearly 40 years, and at all 'levels'.

In 2009 I tried to explain the improvements that needed to be made to get closer to IRL and nobody ever replied. Although several people explained to me at the time that virtuafoot was a game based mainly on mathematics and probability...

maybe things have changed and evolved over the last 17 years, but personally, I've just noticed a little less probability and I find that my experience as a coach handicaps me more in terms of my results.

For me, Virtuafoot is more like the football of the 1970s and 80s.

As far as I'm concerned, I've never left the game, I've undergone all the changes, I've adapted and I think I'll continue to do so.

If some people are looking for a better football simulation IRL, there are other games to enjoy.
I don't understand why anyone would want to turn VF into a game that it isn't and was never intended to be.
And in order to make my contribution to the debate (or to the building) I've made two suggestions.
Here's a third: make it possible for a player to become embroiled in a scandal of morals, a family tragedy or financial worries, with a complete loss of performance in matches, and create a mental health unit in the infirmary to help the player rebuild his life. We're creating jobs in the game (!) and making these players, made up of 1s and 0s, a little more human...

A small detail that would not be complicated to put in place and that would be realistic: that the full-backs could score in the game and the centre-backs at corners.

A lot of things are moving away from reality in terms of match management and club management, but what's moving away from it the most is the latest innovation: free prices.
It's true that M'Bappé sold for 100k or, on the contrary, a departmental promotion player sold for 100m, it's no longer very realistic.

The only thing IRL implemented in Virtuafoot is the duration of matches (and even then, there is no half-time or extra time).

Did you really read this sentence in Kiki's opinion before replying as if making the game more like irl was his own objective?

I think the best thing would be to take all these ideas and give them to A45 so that he can see how to integrate them into his project Kiki was just giving us a reminder 😉

1- First of all, I remember writing "Do you want IRL?", the "you" being addressed to any manager regretting that VF wasn't as realistic as Aymeric would have announced (and not to Kiki in particular);
2- Secondly, there may be reasons why Aymeric hasn't made the game more realistic. Remember that the sentence attributed to Aymeric talks about "close" to reality, not "totally realistic";
3- Finally, I'm expressing my opinion without animosity but with fervour, and I support all those who would like to send in their suggestions on this subject in the Improvement Project section.

That's what's interesting, close to the IRL, that's what A45 wants and we all like that, that's why the story about putting on the studs had no place.
Yes we want a game close to the irl, we are all aware that it is a game and that it remains the virtual one that is why we ask close to the irl and if it is n that based on mathematical probabilities and algorithms that these methods used are calculated so that we turn almost in the logic of certain things in the irl that was the idea.
The idea of putting on cleats and going out on the pitch was really not necessary to answer Kiki.
The admins and others work on it, we know them and they make improvements that we like and others that we don't 🤣.
En plus le fait de discuter avec des vraies personnes c déjà plus du réel pour un jeu non 😎 peut être qu'on devrait faire maintenant que chaque joueur soit gérer par une personne 😂.

Factually, at the moment, it's the IRL clubs that are closer to what you find in VF.

Want an example? Search for 'recruitment TFC data' in your favourite search engine.

Personally, I really like a game based on statistical optimisation, coupled with the random function. It's a change of pace, both in terms of brainpower and gameplay.
And in this age of full graphics, it's nice to have a simple game, in the style of the 90s and 2000s.

If I want a bit more realism, I'll throw in football manager or fifa.
