I discovered a loophole with the federations when I tried to see if it was possible with Kazakhstan.

You can apply to a federation as federation president but you can also be appointed as coach...

This can lead to multiple federations (for example, all the nationalities in your club) and therefore encourage the selection of your own players.

So, to sum up, I'm the coach of Kazakhstan, I applied INTENTIONALLY (I chose a federation without applying so as not to exclude anyone) to Gambia to see if there wasn't a potential loophole that some people could exploit. Then, all I'd have to do is apply with Gambia and I'd have another federation and so on until I had a package of federations that would allow me to select every player in his club and offer myself substantial bonuses.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to block applications or opportunities to appoint a federation as coach :)!

Unfortunately this isn't new aguado, I didn't understand the point of doing this but thanks to your message everything is now clear by giving them bonuses in each federation by being a coach it's sure to help.

There's a simple thing to do: abolish bonuses.

Ever since the federations were set up, it's been a race for bonuses. Players are naturalised indiscriminately just so that a player of Italian origin can be selected by Vietnam because his buddy is the coach. (This is just one example).

The federations are nothing but money machines, and those who benefit from them are often their buddies.

Let's be clear: the federations are a flop. Nobody is really interested in them. Everyone talks about IE, IS, championships. Nobody talks about federations. Nobody posts a carrot of a match in a federation. Aymeric doesn't solve the problem of matches sometimes starting at 12 vs 12 or with two players in the same position. Nobody is offended by this, because nobody cares.

It was a good idea on paper, but VF never took the desired turn with regard to the federations. Let's abolish bonuses, that's the best thing to do to avoid the cronyism that leads to repeated and sometimes large-scale abuses.

In defence of the Federations, there are several of us who enjoy the module and play clean anyway ^^ The Federations League and the CAN have their fans, and the Federations League is perhaps the strictest of all the competitions along with the Cup IS. But it's heartbreaking to see the number of unresolved bugs on this module...

Yes, we could do without the bonuses. It would also reduce the number of messages in the selectors' inbox... :D

On the other hand, we haven't been able to select naturalised players for a while now.

Depuis la mise en place des fédérations, c'est la course à la prime. Des joueurs sont naturalisés à tort et à travers juste pour qu'un joueur d'origine italienne soit sélectionné par le Vietnam parce que c'est son pote qui est sélectionneur. (Tout ceci n'est qu'un exemple)

Les fédérations ne sont que des machines à fric, et ceux qui en bénéficient sont souvent les copains.

You should take a refresher course
It's been a while since new naturalised players could be selected for the Federation, and old naturalised players no longer have to run the streets!

In itself, it doesn't change much.
If it's the competition that's interesting, the bonuses have nothing to do with it.

Have you found a manager who owns more than one federation?

You have to stop fantasising about the Federations' bonuses.
The automatic bonus generated by VF and not by the bank of Federations is 5 euros x the player's ng x 8 (maximum number of matches per season in a Federation).
Bonuses generated by the bank of Federations :

• the promotion subsidy (3 outings maximum per season) is 3 x 1 M maximum;
• the selection subsidy (maximum of 8 matches per season in a Federation) is 8 x 1 M maximum.
  Federations' bank balances :
• the sum of points won per match (maximum of 8 matches per season in a Federation) x 1 M;
• shop receipts x 8 (maximum of 8 matches per season in a Federation). With a maximum of 8 points per season (maximum of 8 matches per season in the Federation), I'll leave it to you to calculate the number of seasons it would take to have a 10-point shop.
  If a cartel president can pay himself a bonus of 20 million each month, the revenue of the Federations, equivalent to that of the Fourth World, does not allow such a sum to be spent per season on a minimum of 11 players x 8 (maximum of 8 matches per season in a Federation).

Personally, I like the principle of federations, even if the module isn't perfect, but it's still difficult to access. For example, I waited for months as the only applicant for a federation (I wouldn't say which one) and the day before the deadline another player appeared and won the bid, which was a bit annoying. I managed Albania for a while and I really enjoyed it, apart from the bugs mentioned above, but for 2 years now I've been unable to access another federation.
A good reform of the module to avoid the flaw in question would surely make it more attractive.
As far as finances are concerned, I'll be honest, the bonus from my 2 or 3 selected riders often enables me to end the week in the black, so I'm not spitting on it...
