Whether in Group 1 or Group 2, goal difference was decisive in determining the standings and therefore the programme for these semi-finals.
A big well done to all the participants!
Because despite some harsh scores, I've not forgotten that I motivated some people to take part and represent their nation ... with, how can I put this, a certain strength of conviction ...
Let's get on with the rest of the competition!
I'm not setting any deadlines, because I'm sure that all the remaining competitors will show good intelligence when it comes to the Copa America.

ECUADOR: zebounet LR ¤ Artifex lignarius ¤ HONDURAS : Taudecci Honduras FT °hVs°Thanks to their 6-0 win over Nicaragua, zebounet's Ecuador take top spot in Group 1.
But was finishing 1st such a good idea?
In Group 2, it was on goal difference that Taudecci's Honduras finished second, just ahead of ben33's Peru.
Honduras are therefore still in the running to defend their title.

JAMAICA: Fafa30 FC Massilia ~©~ URUGUAY: Anactarion Nadjejda F.C3 matches, 3 wins ... with a record like that, the <<Reggae Boys>> showed that they weren't there just to sing and dance. ^^
Fafa30's Jamaica thus finished uncontested top of Group 2, and will meet Anactarion's Uruguay, who finished second in Group 1 on goal difference alone.
So here we are, in the last four of the competition. Just 2 matches to lift the trophy and enter the legend of the Copa Américà!
PS: It is of course possible to organise a small final.

In anticipation of any comments, as organiser, I authorised and even encouraged a replay of the semi-final.
There's plenty of time, and it's much nicer to be eliminated on the pitch than on penalties.
But be careful!
This is a return match.
Bear in mind the location.
If it's still a draw, we'll apply the "away goal counts double" rule.
In the event of a tie, of course, we'll go to penalties. In this case, send 2 series of 5 shots + 5 saves, to determine the finalist as quickly as possible.
Obviously, we'll do the same thing for the finals (grand and petite).
Given that there are still 2 weeks to go, it's possible.
Priority will be given to single-elimination matches.
If there's a draw, a return match.
If it's tied, penalties.
But that's no reason to play defensively ...
