[A few remarks:[/u]
- There are 2 Italies :/
Either a barrage or, as we've already seen, 2 Italies are taking part. If the second solution is chosen by the organisers, I suggest renaming them Galitalie and Italiveco.
- Junior had asked for CAF, but I think that's a mistake, and I've listed Brazil as CONMEBOL
- Azerbaijan placed in AFC at Clamsii's request: although geographically in Asia, they play in UEFA IRL (and were runners-up in the last VFIFA continental competition)
- Türkiye: this country, which has one foot in Europe and one in Asia, plays in UEFA IRL, so I put it in UEFA, but guantanamera said it could switch to AFC if necessary
- India: Arkajyoti Paul is a last-minute signing. He doesn't have a keeper, so I've sent him a PM to tell him to take a free one, and I've summarised the VFIFA rules for him in English because I've noticed that when browsing in English, the Deepl API must be limited in the number of characters, and the VFIFA rules are only translated for the first 3 articles (whereas there are 15 ... )
I'll send him the full set of rules if his entry is approved by the organisers.
- Please note that I have mentioned the American and Asian title holders, even though they have not re-registered for this edition.

Acum 2 lunaThere's a play-off match between the two Italians on the 7th. That would make 13 UEFA entrants, and if Guanta's Turkey were to join the AFC, that would make 12 (perfect for making groups).
In the AFC, they would have 7 registered, as in America. That's still better than 6.
I'll do the Euro groups later today and see about the AFC groups, as there don't seem to be any volunteers.

Hello floblack,
Having volunteered to organise the Asian Cup, I regret to have to refuse your participation.
The registration deadline (Sunday midnight) has passed by several days. A few hours, or even a day, might have been acceptable..
But after speaking to Arkajyoti Paul (the new Indian coach) by PM, he told me he knew several friends who could field a VFIFA African or Asian team. I refused, because the date had passed, and we (the organisers) now had to think about a tournament format, draw up the tables ... and ... we also have a life on the side.
So, in the interests of fairness, and despite the fact that you have already taken part in many VFIFA competitions, I have to refuse your participation.
See you next season for the World Cup.
