4 dni temuHello everyone!
Given that the improvement projects are ranked according to the number of people voting FOR them, it would be nice to have the opportunity to vote AGAINST them and also to withdraw your vote if you change your mind.
This way, the improvement projects will better reflect the basic rules of voting.
So what do you think?

3 dni temuI'm AGAINST it.
All it would take is a message like this one placed just below the project that people would 'like'.
We'd then be able to make a simple subtraction.
The dislike button has been withdrawn from many so-called social networks because, sociologically speaking, it was more conducive to confrontation and online harassment than to dialogue and argument.

3 dni temuLeguman: Je suis CONTRE.
In this case, you should be able to withdraw your like if you have been convinced by the opposing arguments.
This is not possible here 🙂

3 dni temuLike many sections of VForum (I'm thinking of the bug section), but that's another debate, it easily turns into discussions like "the game and its community" and "free discussion", which should be the only "raw" discussion areas.
There are also too many redundant projects, too many projects that are only of interest to the person posting them and too few that are validated by the MDJ.
This section had in fact disappeared, and when it came back, Aymeric had clearly communicated its function:
https://www.virtuafoot.com/#forum?topic=146720
If there was a real plan to improve this section, it would be to have, as in 2007, a dedicated moderator who would close certain topics, merge some of them and act as a communication relay between the MDJ and the community.
What's more, no more moderators/administrators. For example, there used to be an admin/modo dedicated solely to organising matches and tournaments. (Federations, for example)
It's been a long time since we've had an organisation like this, which would allow anti-cheat and anti-bug admins to devote themselves entirely to their primary missions.
I'm in no way criticising their admirable work ... but by overloading them, they're verging on virtua burn-out in my opinion.
And I'm well aware that I'm saying this when I have 'the impression that we haven't had a full team like we have now since 2018.

Ce n'est pas possible ici 🙂
Why not simply wait if you're undecided?
The dictatorship of the immediate imposed on us by the internet is not inextricable.
Fundamentally, I wouldn't be against "removing your like", but I do see a flaw in it.
I would compare it to the way the "edit" function has been modified.
Let's say a project reaches 100 likes.
The MDJ implements the improvement, but the way it's done or the improvement implemented isn't what was imagined ....
Likes are withdrawn en masse out of disappointment ... and it's easy to imagine a smear campaign along the lines of "the MDJ, he's killing the game, he doesn't understand anything, he's implemented something voted for by 20 likes."
So, yes, we'd have to defend ourselves with dated screenshots... especially as we're entering an era where people are falsifying IRL receipts with AI to inflate their expenses, so the legitimacy of screenshots is a little questionable... but that's just my opinion.

Des likes so
Ah you're absolutely right.
Now, the VF Community is what it is 🙂
You're getting philosophical, and I agree. But... that's how it is.
Many people read a post and agree with it on the spot.
The counter-arguments are probably not read.
As a result, we can philosophise about the relevance or otherwise of the action. But you look hot, I love it 🙂

There were more modos/admins because there were a lot more people and therefore a lot more things to keep track of, check, do, monitor and so on. The comm has melted away since then, to the point where I'm not sure there's any need to expand the team. But only they can say that and express this potential need.
