A clear-cut, flawless victory for Sweden, who beat India 3–0. Completely dominant, the Swedes capitalised on their numerous attacking opportunities whilst completely stifling the opposition’s attack.
It was a one-sided match. The Swedish team dictated the pace from start to finish, displaying clinical efficiency in front of goal. Scoring three goals from 12 clear-cut chances, the Swedish strikers proved incisive against an Indian defence that was completely overwhelmed. For their part, the Indian side were sorely lacking in attacking options, failing to create a single dangerous chance throughout the match. The Indian forwards were completely shut down by the opposition defence. Frustration was also evident in their play, with Indian players picking up two yellow cards. Sweden managed the match perfectly and secured a well-deserved victory.

As is their habit, the Finns conceded a goal very early on and spent an hour chasing the score!!
After numerous substitutions, the equaliser came from the bench, unleashing a more dangerous Finnish side.
It wasn’t until the very last minute of the match that another substitute secured three precious points in this very tough group!

In their second match, whilst the coach overslept and missed his flight – leaving his players to fend for themselves – the Scottish side tried hard but were unable to capitalise on their efforts, leaving Stockholm with a point from the draw.

Sweden 0–0 Scotland
Sweden held firm against Scotland’s attacks to secure a 0–0 draw. Although outplayed by an attacking but clumsy Scottish side, the Swedish defence stood firm. Scotland launched wave after wave of attacks without ever finding a way through, whilst Sweden proved very opportunistic.
This goalless draw feels like a real coup for Sweden, who managed to sit back and weather the storm.
The Scandinavian rearguard were content to defend. Despite seven clear-cut chances for Scotland, Sweden repelled every threat.
The Swedes needed just one chance to try and spring a surprise, though without success.
The match was generally a fair affair, but Scotland’s frustration at Sweden’s defensive wall resulted in a yellow card being shown to a Swedish player for disrupting the flow of the game in the closing stages.
