Reminders:

• Last day to play your matches = 26 April
• Those who have played or scheduled 5 matches or more by 27 April will be removed from the rankings
• Participation in the African Cup of Nations is incompatible with participation in the Federations League, and nations taking part will be removed from the rankings
• On 27 April, the top 4 federations will qualify directly for the quarter-finals, while the federations ranked 5 to 12 will play off in the 1/8 finals.
  Federations ranked 13 and above will be placed on a waiting list in the event that a federation ranked 1-12 does not wish to take part in the final phase

You will find in the following message the list of federations potentially qualified for the Top Twelve (2nd phase of the competition).
Here are a few reminders:

Reminder 1: The only federations that can appear on the list of qualified teams are those that have not played (or scheduled) more than 4 matches or that have not played one or more matches in the African Cup of Nations (as the matches are predetermined and not decided at random).
A team that has only played 3 matches is potentially eligible.

Reminder 2: In the event of a tie, the federations are separated by their goal average and then by the number of goals scored. If it is still necessary, a fictitious penalty shoot-out will decide between the irreducible ties.

Reminder 3: The VF rules must not have been breached at any time during the first round

In particular, you must not have played an improving player, selected more than one player from the same club (unless an exception is stipulated in the rules) or selected more than 5 players from the same association.
I'm receiving more and more complaints (sometimes justified) from coaches who are unhappy with their opponents.
I would remind you that excuses such as: I didn't know where, the player has simply improved by 0.1 or I didn't realise that the player had been transferred or there was a bug and I hadn't selected the player but he turned up anyway, etc. are not acceptable.
Agreeing to be a coach also means agreeing to spend the time necessary to check that your selection is correct.
For the second phase, to ensure regularity, from now on the submission of lists of 22 players will no longer be limited to a simple screen done in haste, but will have to be done in the following form
Player's name (or link) - Club - Association
NB: on the other hand, an Excel spreadsheet screen containing these 3 entries is perfectly possible :)
I know it's going to take 10 or 15 minutes of your time, but it'll still be less than the time spent by admins or myself checking claims and informing selectors who aren't up to scratch.
