A new competition event will soon be taking place on Virtuafoot: the VF World Cup 2026.

This will be a competition between 48 teams generated by the game, which can be controlled by VF managers alongside their clubs during the competition.

The VF World Cup 2026 is an international competition between 48 nations. You can apply for the position of coach of the nation of your choice.

**Registration phase
You can now apply to become the coach of the nation of your choice.
Please note: you can only apply for one selection. It is not possible to cancel your application. It will no longer be possible to register once the qualification tournaments have begun.

**Qualification phase
To determine which 48 managers will take part in this competition, a qualification phase will be organised. This will take the form of 48 knockout rounds, each of which will pit the managers who have applied for the position of coach of a nation against each other.
The qualification phase will begin a few days before the start of the competition, depending on the number of entrants. The exact date will be announced shortly.
You will play the qualifying tournament with your own squad, alongside your own competitions. Competition matches may be scheduled over several consecutive days.

**The competition
The competition will take place between 11 June and 19 July 2026. During the competition, managers will be able to manage their selection as well as their club. The winning coach will be able to sign the player of his choice from the competition at his own club.
