The rules remain the same.
However, I would like to stress the following point:
You have until Sunday 7 December at the latest to play your 4 matches.
The ranking of qualifiers for the Top Twelve will be published on Monday 8 December.
I would like to remind you that as of 7 December, any federation that has played or even simply scheduled more than 4 matches will not be able to take part in the final phase (even if it believes it finished in the top 4 and has qualified directly for the quarter-finals without having to go through the 1/8 finals, which will take place in the days following publication of the rankings).
I would also like to remind you that players who do not have a 0 progression coefficient may not take part in a match (even if the coefficient is close to zero).
Finally, I would like to remind you that it is forbidden to select more than two players from the same club or more than 5 players from clubs belonging to the same association.
Last season, 6 federations were caught red-handed.
At my level, only sanctions specific to the competition are taken (match lost on the green carpet, etc.) but I would also remind you that in the event of an infringement, the game's administrators can apply any sanctions they deem useful and which will apply to the coach's club.

The match is declared lost 0-1 on the green carpet for Trinitad and Tobago, who did not respect the 1 player per club rule.
Example:

The two players mentioned belong to the same club.

As a reminder, irrespective of the competition-specific penalty for failing to comply with this rule, the club to which the players belong is also at fault, as it knows full well that it is benefiting from the selection of several players (... unwittingly!), but it is up to the game's admins to decide what to do about this.

General comment: double (or triple) selection seems to be on the increase and the possibility of doing this is generally the result of using a loophole.

I made a mistake :o

I've just played my 4th match and I've scheduled a 5th for next Monday (by reflex). It's a request and it hasn't been validated yet. Is it possible to cancel the match request? Or, as it comes after the 4-match ranking, will it just count as a friendly?

I think it's a forfeit, so you have to be in the top 4 and wait for the organiser's approval before you can schedule a 5th match outside the 8th round.

Myforsan, he is a referent and organiser for the federations.

Unfortunately the rules are strict, so I doubt you'll be able to break them.

With a 5th match, in the first phase you wouldn't be able to go through to the 2nd phase because there's a maximum number of matches a federation can play each season.
So either you find an admin who will cancel your match (which I can't do, as I'm not an admin), or I'll have to remove you from the rankings. This happened to two federations last season.

The first phase is over, and you'll find the rankings below.
The top 12 teams qualify for the second phase provided they confirm their participation by 8pm on Wednesday at the latest.
The teams ranked 13th to 16th will take the place of a federation that has not confirmed its participation (provided, of course, that they themselves confirm their wish to take part).
The list of the 12 federations selected and the table for the 2nd phase will be published on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning at the latest.
The federations will then have until 12 noon on Saturday to validate their list of 22.
