C'è 12 hPossession depends on the stats in midfield: yours and your opponent's.
As for quantifying the drop in defence and the gain in midfield with high pressing (light and normal), I'll let you try it out in a friendly and see for yourself.
Personally, I use it when I'm far too dominated to try and have at least 35/40% possession. At the same time, I try to contain the opposition's attack in all 3 sectors, and try to dominate one of the 3 sectors of the opposition's defence.
But the more you get into the details, the more each manager has a precise idea of an ideal to achieve in terms of statistics.
My opinion is my own ;)
