It's off to the races for season 139: the Asian VFIFA selections will battle it out and try to take over from authentik54's Australia Blue Samurai [N-E]
The tournament format is identical to that of our American colleagues: a mini championship, with single matches to be organised in a random location.
There are 7 of us taking part, so there are 6 matches to be played.

You will have noticed that Paul Arkajyoti, the Indian manager/coach, is an English speaker. That's why I've put INDIA and not INDE.
I've also decided to make the tournament table in English (as the images are not automatically translated).

I have a small question. Clamssi and I are playing in the league on 17/02, could the league match be used as a competition match for this tournament as well? That would save us having to schedule a match and we both agree, but we'd prefer to have the organiser's opinion for his agreement if that's possible

don't worry, participating is already a victory! It's a game in the game, probably the most difficult way of playing this game (players are expensive, you must grow your club faster, make long term choices etc). But I love playing these cups

MACAO - LAOS or the match of shame!
After a boat trip, I'd already lost 3 players on this maritime journey: the poor guys were seasick and couldn't stop throwing up.
When we arrived at the hotel, we organised a little jog... but my players' motivation wasn't there...
<< It's all right coach, we're out of the competition, we've got nothing left to play for... give us some free time before the match ...>>
Out of weakness and naivety, I agreed. What a mistake I made!
Half an hour before kick-off, many of my players had still not returned to the hotel.
I then received a rather threatening phone call.
It was the mafia, the Chinese triads! In 2 hours of free time, my players had racked up staggering debts at the casino !!!
(Macau, a former Portuguese colony which later became a free port, is world famous for its casinos)
The deal was clear: my players were being held hostage!
To clear the debt, I had to field 2 non-registered players (a Malaysian and a Colombian) in order to forfeit the match to the VFIFA authorities (the triads who had bet on this improbable event would be reimbursed via these famous rigged bets).
I was devastated, we were still in the running for the fair play trophy, but I had no choice, the life of my youngest player was at stake if I didn't comply ....
That's how, at half-time, I saw my players relax and I was able to make some changes (at very specific times, again for the sake of betting).
➡️ 1-0 forfeit and 2 red cards (1 for each foreign player lined up) + a personal fine imposed by the VFIFA 😐

The competition is over!
All the matches were played on time, and as the organiser, I'd like to thank you for that.
This season saw the participation of two new nations represented in the VFIFA.
MACAO, a small country of just 700,000 inhabitants, where Emalliug has made its home. They had a good run, scoring 7 points for their first participation.
INDIA, the Asian giant with a population of 1 billion 500 million, proudly represented by Paul Arkajyoti. It was doubly historic for the VFIFA, as it was the first time an English-speaking coach had taken part.Admittedly, Paul was a little disappointed not to record any victories, but with 2 points, it was a respectable performance for a first-timer, and he avoided the last place in the competition.
There is no doubt that the affinity between their respective players will grow stronger as the VFIFA competitions progress, and I wanted to publicly welcome them to this virtual adventure.

But Japan's self-sacrifice in playing 3 matches in 3 days to finish the competition is to be commended.

If Maxence97300's team are the only unbeaten nation at this tournament, they owe it all to Kenko Kanashi, aka the double K.

What an edition! What a show this VFIFA Asian Cup season 139 has put on.
Clamsii's Azerbaijan, unfortunate finalists in the previous edition, were announced as favourites. But their first match ended in defeat at the hands of an excellent Japan, which immediately sowed doubts in the coach's mind.
By winning the VF Asian League Cup (https://www.virtuafoot.com/#coupe?cid=17769), Clamsii boosted his confidence and was able to mobilise his troops.
after a 3-1 win over Laos, a 3-0 victory over Vietnam, and a hard-fought match against Turkey that ended in a 1-0 victory, Clamsii's charges were back on track.
Maxence's Japan, with their good results, kept up the pressure.
The result was decided in stoppage time against a Macau team that was very determined. A goal in the 93rd minute gave Azerbaijan the last 3 points in their quest for the title.
The fans go wild!
that's it, the VFIFA Asian Cup will stay in the Republic of the Caucasus for a season... just long enough for a World Cup.
