I’d like to put forward a little idea: given that we can view the list of former players who have played for our clubs, why not have a system, just like in real life, which allows us to receive a bonus – as in the real world, amounting to 5 per cent of the transfer fee – when players who have come exclusively through our academy are transferred in the future?

Je pose La une petite idée, étant donné que nous avons la possibilité de consulter la liste des anciens joueurs étant passé par nos clubs, pourquoi ne pas avoir comme dans la réalité un système qui permet lors du transfert futur de nos joueurs exclusivement issus de notre centre de formation, de recevoir une prime qui serait comme dans le monde réel de 5 % sur les indemnités de transfert.

5 per cent might be a bit excessive… OK, it’s true to life, but in VF, a player can be transferred 20 times in the same season.

So what would be the problem with a 20x transfer?
If a player is transferred 20 times, they’ll still be subject to a 10 per cent or 50 per cent tax, depending on their length of service, won’t they?
So, if 5 per cent of the 10 per cent (or 50 per cent) transfer fee is paid to the player’s former club, what’s the problem?

I think it’s an excellent idea.

No, for the first transfer when he leaves his youth club, there’s only the transfer fee – no other compensation.
I’m talking about a percentage of transfer fees once he’s no longer at his youth club, throughout his career.
And to pick up on the arguments made a little earlier, if the player is a bit of a flip-flopper and changes clubs 10 times in a season, we could perhaps base it on 2 per cent or even 1 per cent.

Tony_07_23: Non sur le 1re transfert quand il quitte son club formateur, il n’y a que le montant du transfert, d’autre indemnité.
Moi je parle d’un pourcentage sur les transferts une fois qu’il n’est déjà plus dans son club formateur, tout au long de sa carrière.
Et pour reprendre les arguments un peu plus haut, effectivement si le joueur est une girouette et qu’il change de club 10 fois dans la saison on peut plutôts se baser sur du 2% voir même 1%.

On paper, it sounds nice.

In reality, on VF: I get a rubbish potential from my CDF halfway through the season, which I sell to someone or to my Multi 1.

My multi 2 buys it back: cash. They sell it on to a legitimate player or to multi 3: cash. Multi 4 buys it back: cash. And so on and so forth.
