That’s an excellent question, to which I obviously don’t have the answer.

Perhaps the admins can explain this to us, as I don’t get the impression that the club in question is a ‘test club’ like the two or three that exist in the game.

Anyway, yesterday whilst building the shop’s workshop, I didn’t see that CDF 11 was available; otherwise, I’m pretty sure I would have gone for it :p

Hello, the bug was reported to me this morning, and I’ve passed the issue on to Aymeric.
I also took the opportunity to find a Level 11 CDF in another club.

As for how he managed it:
The manager stopped playing the game and benefited from the catch-up programme when he recently returned to the game. This catch-up programme provides for increases in the CDF level. The problem is that when a club reaches level 10, the programme isn’t aware of this and continues to offer level increases.

On the question of whether this is allowed:
Of course not, and Aymeric will step in to rectify the situation as he sees fit.

If you are aware of a club in your league – or indeed any other club – that has a CDF at level 11 or above, please let us know. A player promoted from a training centre above level 10 will, of course, be subject to intervention by an admin.

It’s impossible to go any higher than 10 – it looks like a bug

There had already been a Level 11 CDF, but that was for an inactive club that had returned to the game; it was a bug where the club was given all sorts of free stuff to encourage its return.

But this Level 13 one is rather strange. Especially as the club doesn’t seem to be inactive.

I don’t think it is either; let’s hope this is a test with a view to future improvements

That said, even if this were a bug, it would be good if it were actually legally possible to have facilities (including the training centre) rated higher than 10.
That would create a point of differentiation between clubs, as at the moment a Level 10 training centre is a bit ‘run-of-the-mill’.

This is my club. I stopped playing for quite a while. When I came back, I received an email with daily boosts to use. If I’ve understood correctly, I wasn’t allowed to use them. I apologise for that. I saw another Level 11 club, so I didn’t look any further.

Well, I get the idea, but it’s already seen as difficult for a newcomer to ‘catch up’ with well-established clubs; if you add new tiers, that’s only going to make things even harder. Even though seniority should remain an advantage, the game still needs to be accessible to new players.

I can confirm that he’s done nothing wrong. It would have been best, though, to notify an admin as soon as he reached level 10.
That said, it’s not a big deal; he’s not risking anything apart from losing all his CDF players, as it goes without saying that he won’t be able to field them.

It could also be a Level 10 training centre with 1 star, with the option to upgrade it to 3 stars and the chance to find legendary players, for example

And what about the potential detections of 89, 88 and 87 – were the admins notified about those as well?
If I’ve understood correctly, he first went to level 11, then 12, then 13 by clicking on ‘upgrade CDF’, didn’t he? So he knew it was a bug to be at level 11, but he carried on upgrading all the way to level 13? 🤔

There’s no point in trying at all costs to get sanctions lifted for something that’s already been flagged, especially when the person responsible went to speak to the admins directly.

For example, it’s a far cry from those crafty lot who discreetly and secretly built up their players’ endurance through a series of short-term loan spells between clubs in the same league, combining them with successive fitness camps staggered between the clubs involved.

This has unfortunately led to a system that has all but killed off training loans.

If the account is still assigned and in good standing but inactive, it is not deleted.

Frankly, if you’re certain of your claims and the facts, you need to name names.
Because we’ve read a lot of things that have actually turned out to be false. And no sanctions have been imposed on those who made false accusations (once the cases were properly investigated).
I think there was one club that was hit with a hefty fine, but I don’t know them well enough to ask, and it wasn’t any of my business.

As for Mauve, we need to take it easy. We’re talking about a club that’s been making a gradual comeback. Completely off the radar. When it left VF, there were some promising 88s in the CDF with the youth scout.
By taking things slowly, you can imagine he hasn’t yet checked how VF has developed.
He showed his good faith right from the first private messages (I sent him a PM at 1.00 am, he replied around 8.00 am, and got in touch with an admin directly. Too late – his public trial was already over.)
He’s only just discovering all this.
And it can only put him off; it’s appalling.
