While playing against an opponent I realised that I had already played against him last season, and the season before that, etc... So I was interested to know the context, the results, the teams lined up, etc...

So I was wondering if the idea of a small "direct confrontation" tab wouldn't be useful in this context? It would allow everyone to consult the history of a match as it approaches and I think it could be a nice little addition for any manager looking for stats (even partial ones) to analyse, or just to warm up when you realise that you haven't managed to score a single goal against your opponent!

So what do you think?

I don't see the point, apart from overloading the DB.

Teams change regularly, so we wouldn't learn much.

I think it's an interesting idea. Maybe not to the extent of having access to the old compo, but the result and the competition would be great.

Yeah, having a list of recent results against the opponent in question would be nice.

That's a nice idea. It would allow me to check that I have negative H2H against absolutely everyone.
