A quick message about the new features for this season.
The polls that took place at the start of the season have been implemented in a new file (well, the ergonomics need to be improved, but the basis is there):

• The 16-team format will now be played in 2 phases:

  • First, a single pool (LDC IRL type) of 4 matches with a hat-trick draw.
  • Followed by a semi-final and final phase.
  • The direction of the group matches is 100% random (basically you can play 4 home matches and
    4 away games, but for most of you it will be 2 home games, 2 away games).
  • For the final phase, as you'd expect, the top 4 will play in a mini-tournament, the next 4 in another, and so on.
    in another, etc...
  • For the final phase, the first of each group of 4 will play at home against the fourth.
    Similarly, the second-placed team will play at home against the third-placed team.

• The 15-team format will remain the same as in previous seasons:

  • A 5-team pool phase (with just a hat-trick draw as opposed to the previous system).
  • Followed by a pool phase with 3 matches between the first-placed teams, one between the second-placed teams, etc.

• The 14-team format will now be played in one phase:

  • A single pool phase (LDC IRL type) with hats.
  • The matches will be drawn in the same way as for the 16-team format.

• The 12-team format will remain the same as in previous seasons, i.e. :

  • A pool phase with 4 pools (only a draw with hats will be included, unlike before)
  • Followed by a two-legged semi-final final followed by a final and a small final.
    At the end of the pool phase, a ranking is drawn up and the top 4 in this ranking play in the mini
    tournament for first place, the next 4 for 5th and the last 4 for 9th.

The rankings are based on the IE and CUP IS rankings for the last 5 seasons.
For those who have not participated in the Cup IS over one or more seasons, you will be considered last in those seasons.
Similarly, if your agreement is recent, you will be considered last in the D5 for the seasons prior to the creation of the agreement.

That does raise a question of fairness, doesn't it? We're in a pool of 16, so The FYM's withdrawal slightly distorts the final ranking... It gives 3 points to each team that was supposed to meet it, which gives them all an advantage in the standings.

MilKun: Cela soulève quand même un problème d'équité non ? On est en poule de 16 donc The FYM, par son forfait, fausse un peu le classement final... Elle donne 3 points a chaque équipe qui devait la rencontrer, ce qui leurs donne toutes un avantage dans le classement.

D20 with all the matches already played I can not re make a draw to 15. So 4forfaits ... the 4ententes concerned are allowed to play a friendly match between them for the IS ranking.

As far as the Cup is concerned, this will slightly modify the final phase for the 13/14th and 15th teams. But everyone will have the 6 matches.

Pigloo, it's nothing against you at all, you make do with what you've got and I completely agree with you. Thank you for all the organisation you've managed on your own

The thing is, the Fym have plenty of time to play their remaining matches. But inevitably if they don't even make the effort to appoint a coach, it's more complicated. 🙄

Please close the subject Fym children, the necessary measures will be taken by the organisation in due course. Nobody wants to take responsibility for the selection, unfortunately we can't force them. And they're already punishing themselves in the agreement ranking with 0 IS.

I'll let you get on with this edition in the usual calm and good humour.

Unfortunately I've had a lot of problems irl and wasn't able to follow everything in time.

After a few discussions, I decided to reinstate the FYM agreement to the competition.

So there are 12 days left to schedule your matches!
