Hace 27hHello the community,
Who can tell me why I'm eligible and not qualified in relation to the team ahead of me?

Hace 27hOn the fly, without looking, probably because he's won a cup or made a final. Or has a ranking that automatically entitles him to it.
As for you, you obviously didn't get your ticket by winning a competition, so you're only eligible if there's room left.

Hace 27hBut on closer examination, it's true that it's not that obvious.
With no Cup win and no final, all that's left is the league.
But you have the same ranking.
I can only see the 'higher' ranking in his Northern Ireland league giving him priority, but that's not the case, in fact it's the opposite.
Really, I don't see why he's ranked higher than you.

Hace 26hPerhaps, as with all the rankings on VF, when there are ties, the game will display an order that will not necessarily be the final order and that will be determined by a draw.
For example, in the LDC, when there is a tie in the group stage, a draw is used to break the tie.

Hace 25hNormally it's seniority that separates each place. In fact, if you look at the 3rd places, it's in order of seniority. It's just for this club that logic is not respected.

Hace 25hAm I posting a bug or does someone have the answer?

Hace 24h3rd place each, same number of points, perhaps the goal difference then applies? He's ahead on that point.
(mere hypothesis, no certainty)

Hace 24hAfter that, if it makes you feel any better, you're eligible, which means you'll get a place if anything comes up.
This can happen with teams that have 2 tickets. For example, cup winners and league winners at the same time, for the LdC. In theory, this frees up one place, and fills the vacant places with the "eligible" ones.
This system remains the same with the VFFA (e.g. Cup finalists who finish in the VFFA places in the league).
There are bound to be clubs in this situation, so it should work, if you're among the first eligible :)
But I can see that it's clearly not reassuring ^^.

Given that the championships and cups are over, the current ranking is very likely to be the one used for the cup draw tonight.

Yes, of course, the 'ranking' won't change, that's for sure.
But I doubt it will include the teams with "2 tickets".
I think it's only the draw that does the sorting, you know what I mean?

At this stage the sorting is already done.

I admit I haven't looked into it.
But then, what conditions would qualify someone as eligible?
I don't see the point then :/

Hace 23hMagpie: Ah ?
You can qualify with 3 days to go if you come second, for example.
If you come 4th at the end of the championship, you are no longer qualified and the 1st eligible player takes your place.

Hace 23hNo, no, but I did understand that, I was talking about "what could take a Qualifier out of the LdC, in favour of an Eligible, right now, on D56, or tonight?"
That's why I don't understand the point of the eligibles in J56. And I'd like to know what could make an Eligible to Qualified. I thought there were double-tickets but, yes, the sorting has already been done, it seems to be the case.
It's true, that does seem to be the case. As much as it's interesting for the VFFA because if any LDC-eligible players become Qualified tonight, that frees up a place in the VFFA. But I find it hard to understand what the point is and what could move the lines?

Hace 23hNothing, of course, but we're not going to change the way the list is presented just for J56 because there's no point in doing it then, are we?

Hace 23hNo, clearly, even if the interest remains relative on the other days too, eh?)
But I was simply trying to find out if there was anything that could get the ball rolling. The way the list was presented made me personally think that it would.
If the sorting has already been done, and nothing can move the lines, then the die is cast. I've got my answer.
We'll see if the lines have moved tomorrow, or not (in VFFA in particular) :)

Hace 22hFinally, to answer the basic question, maxou's UID (623618) is older than Skora's (625645).
The game therefore considers maxou's club to be older, probably.
There was a time, I think, when UIDs were recycled. This probably explains why maxou, whose club was created in 2020, has priority over Sikora's (2019), if seniority is the tie-breaker.
All the best.

Hace 21hHello,
It's the UID, I had the case a few seasons ago. My club was older but my UID was higher, so it was the other club that qualified.
