I'm puzzled and I'd like to put these 2 facts to you:

• I have a 28-year-old player called Diogo Sulu. Pot85, NG92 I. Sulu
• I have another 18-year-old player with the same name: Diogo Sulu. Pot79 NG17 I. Sulu

So here are my questions:
1/ why are they both called the same thing?
2/ when you look at my squad, their initials are not D. Sulu but I. Sulu!

Does anyone close to the game have any information or theories?

In tribute to the Jota brothers, all the players have been renamed
No need to panic, just our way of sharing the grief of the bereaved families.

Certainly temporary. Just a tribute.

All VF players will be called Diogo temporarily, in honour of Diogo Jota and his brother, who died tragically.

It seems pretty obvious, guys. We're on a football game and something horrible has happened to a well-known player who plays for a major European club as well as the national team. It's "a tribute" to our way of doing things, but don't panic, it's only temporary I suppose.

Yeah, but just think, how are we going to play VF if we no longer have the players' first names? 😧😧

Ont est sur un jeu de foot il c’est passer quelque choses d’horrible pour un joueur quand même connue qui joue dans un très grand club d’Europe plus en sélection, c’est «  un hommage «  à notre manière que de faire ça mais pas de panique c’est temporaire je suppose.
