I'm a regular VF manager. My account dates back to 2009 (17 years already!) and I can't say that I don't like VF. It's a game I enjoy and spend a lot of time on, and my longevity speaks for itself. In fact, I'm in the famous 'Circle of Legends', as are many others, and that rewards the time I've invested in your game.
I'm also helping to ensure that it lives on, or survives, because I've already advertised it to people around me and I've already spent a bit of money on stars.

You sometimes make decisions that are questionable. You're moving your game in one direction or another; you can't just make people happy, any change is bound to be accompanied by a flock of managers who disagree. I've sometimes been against certain improvements, but in the end, as always, you adapt. And then we move on and forget about it, let's just say we make the best of it.

But here's the thing. You made a decision, without really explaining your objective, which literally made your game explode in mid-air. It was, of course, your decision to remove all restrictions on transfers and leave the market 100% free. This decision, combined with the distribution of NG90 to Level 1s, made the market even more unstable.

Today, it's becoming impossible to combat cheating. There are far too many accounts that receive NG90 players (sometimes as many as 5 or 6!) and give them to other clubs. And then, once they've been distributed, they don't log on again... There's a real traffic around these players, and many of them profit from it - and as the market is free, everything is simpler, there's not even any need to hide.

A normal manager, like me, who struggles with his weapons, will have to go through training to painfully reach the level of a player's potential (after dozens of matches, injuries, suspensions, etc...) and I see my neighbours receiving well-packaged NG 90s on their doormats for 3 pennies.

So I come to my improvement project, as suggested by Deck:

• Make the NG 90 players offered at Level 1 intransferable.

On another note:

• Turn back the clock and reinstate rules governing transfers. I think this has gone on long enough. Or, if you have 10 minutes to spare, tell us why you decided to withdraw them.

Because yes, I'm talking about NG 90s, but that's not the only problem. It's only a small part of it. The bulk of the problem is around the amount of certain transfers, and there are more and more of them. There's a lot of circumvention of the rules, such as level 1s buying players from the Store (cheap) and giving them 3 months later to high-level players, who will have saved a lot of money. And there are plenty of other examples.

If you want, to avoid polluting this post, I could send you a PM with a huge number of clubs that are benefiting from this new system and against which we can do absolutely nothing as things stand; but which have found themselves very well in this new era. You'd have to react, Aymeric, by putting things back in order, by reintroducing rules, a team of administrators and a firm stance, and then we'd have the feeling that we're playing on an equal footing.

We're working on a nice amélioreration project of our own, but it'll have to wait so it doesn't overlap with this one.

The idea of the free market, it seems to me, is to increase mutual aid.
But mutual help between managers, two distinct human beings, behind two telephones, one of whom is a big club who would help a youngster to progress.

That's the idea in a carefree world, with admins who have time to waste and resources to spare.

The problem is that it's a complete failure...
90% of the players transferred at 100k didn't benefit young clubs that were progressing, but multi trafficking in all directions.

In short, as always, the schemers will have set aside billions with dubious 100k transfers, 90ngs fallen from the sky.
And then they'll come and give us lessons.

And when I see who hangs out with whom, I think that VF is rotten from the inside, with nothing left to do...

Thank you nicu 100% with you. Disgusted by the practices of some people who don't give a fuck. And there are more and more of them, obviously the game was handed to them on a platter.

We can add that when a level 10 is transferred 5 players for 15% of the value from a level 2, and that level 2 is a ghost club that doesn't even bother to choose the colours of its shirt, then there are enough elements to consider this club as a double-count.

We were told that double-counts were always forbidden.

a long time ago, there was a rule:

if a small club wanted to recruit a big player by transfer or direct contact, the "player" could refuse the transfer to play for a much smaller club without the coach being able to give his opinion, even if he wanted to.

it didn't stay that way for long...

1°) It's clear that the reason(s) for the introduction of the 'free' market should be explained to everyone, other than by a vague: 'it's to facilitate mutual aid'.
Because in fact, as could easily be predicted, in the majority of cases it facilitates mutual assistance between the multi-accounts and the 'mafiosi' who set them up and then control them.

2°) Let's admit that in order to attract 'customers' and encourage genuinely new clubs to come and then stay in the game, there are donations of players generated by the system, but this needs to be much better adapted and regulated:

• these players should be distilled down to a trickle and obviously be non-transferable (as suggested above)
• These players should be better proportioned to the real players who have been identified and trained by the 'real' clubs in the game.
  At the moment, the game is gangrenous with 90 Zidanes, 100 Papins or 150 Lampards from NG 90 coming out of nowhere who are far better than 95 or 98% of the other players in the game of their age.
  And the gangrene is gaining ground a little more every day.
  The administrators have tools that allow them to trace players and I think they must be boiling at not being able to sanction what they see (and that even average managers like me also see in broad daylight without having these tools, because it's so big).

3°) And if the market has to remain free (for reasons I don't know) then in that case, remove the possibility of selling direct and only authorise auctions with a minimum of 24 hours.
Unfortunately, this would restrict the game, but with this system, no more shenanigans would be possible in terms of transfers at a low price (disguised player donations) and everything would be done "freely" but....... at a price in line with the market price.
We'll just have to watch the crazy bids. For example, a club bidding 1 billion on a friend's player to give him his money, but that's easily visible and punishable by an admin. The system could even provide for a maximum bid determined by an algorithm setting a theoretical value for the player (based on the player's NG, age, etc.... as for the values of the players in the Vfstore) and then cap the bid on a player, for example, at a maximum bid of 1.5 times this theoretical value.

Given the extent of the current drift in the game, if nothing is done, it's hard to believe that it's because this drift was deliberate, as incredible as that may seem.

Aymeric, you need to do something about this, we don't understand where you're going with your latest decisions. What's the point? Get more people to connect to your game so that VF gets more exposure?

The result after several months is indeed the creation of many new accounts but how many real players? On the other hand, we're losing players who've had an account for several years, disgusted by the way the game is going.

We used to report pyramid schemes involving multiple accounts. Three or four days of investigations and the accounts were blocked and reset. Often on beautifully constructed schemes. Now it's so crude that even vf novices can see how multiaccounts are set up, it's pathetic. The last club targeted ten or so days ago played dead but is now back in business. Once again a 3.3M transfer for a pot14 NG14 to a club that only buys from them.

In short, it's as if the admins no longer have the weapons to regulate VF. Sad situation

If you find multi-accounts, report them to the admins so that they can investigate.

Let's hope they get some time off.

I can imagine that you're very busy IRL, so I hope you'll be able to free up some time one day to make a few changes to the game to make it more livable. You'll never be able to fight all the cheats, they may be in the majority, but there are ways of making their schemes less beneficial to them, and we'll have to live with them, as it's in their blood.

Unfortunately, I can't do anything about 100k purchases for 99 NGs or 50M transfers for 33-year-old 80 NGs.
It is indeed A45's choice to have a free market.

After checking, which I still do systematically, it's not a multi-account, or at least there's nothing to suggest that with the person with whom these transfers were made.
No similar IP address, no VPN detected... 🤷🏾‍♂️
That's the end of my 'investigation', I can't go any further.

I've also already expressed my position on this new VF and the way the free market works on several occasions on the admin Discord. I don't support it either as an ordinary player or as an admin. It's no secret to A45 or the other admins.

I also shared this post in the admin group just after it was published, because in a very short space of time it's met with a lot of plebiscite, but I'm not insinuating that this made A45 come; he's already said it several times himself: he reads VForum on his own initiative.

What if the problem was with the tools and techniques used to detect VPNs, multis, etc.?
Is it possible to improve them, modernise them, etc?
Frankly, there are many examples, and there's no shortage of proven/previous cases... (Jex had never been spotted on Teddy's account, for example...)

When you know that all you have to do to change your ip is switch to aeroplane mode, you don't really need a vpn at this point.

Je ne peux malheureusement rien faire contre les achats à 100k sur des 99 NG ni contre les transferts à 50M pour des 80 NG de 33 ans.
C’est effectivement le choix d’A45 d’avoir un marché libre.

Après vérification que je fais quand même systématiquement ; ce n’est pas un multicompte, ou en tout cas rien ne permet de l’affirmer avec la personne avec qui ces transferts ont été effectués.
Aucune adresse IP similaire, pas de VPN détecté… 🤷🏾‍...

That still means that if multiplayer is not detectable, cheating on transfers is allowed.
Apparently the last case reported last week used multiplayer to avoid being caught by the patrol. However, the facts are undeniable and leave no doubt that cheating is taking place.
Aymeric, when you announced the free market, you assured us that there wouldn't be any problems because the admin teams were equipped to spot multi-accounts. However, this latest case proves that it is possible to have several accounts without being worried.
Now either we let things slide or we have to take action.
The worst thing is that if you intervene - me, Nicularo or anyone else - you risk more in fines for slander than those who openly cheat without any qualms.

It's not 2006 any more. A multi-account is not defined on the basis of IP.

Just a level 1 that gives everything a level 10 has, that's enough.

The case that interests us at the moment doesn't give a damn. He has just sold a 33-year-old pot15 to the same club for 1.9M 🙈

What a joke to let people believe that IP control or VPN detection tools are enough to catch 100% of multi-accounts without fail.

Who doesn't have a neighbour, a cousin, an office colleague or someone else who you can ask to create a VF account while you wait for them to harvest a free monster or buy a few Vfstore players at a ridiculously low price?

Then all you have to do is use a "free transfer" to collect the fish caught in the net and thank your neighbour/cousin/colleague by offering him a coffee and telling him that he no longer needs to connect to his VF account because you have another neighbour/cousin/colleague who will do the same for you.

Meanwhile, in Vera Cruz...
