36 is the record number of participants in a VFIFA CDM, set at CDM 5 and CDM 25.

I'd really like us all to go down in VFIFA history and set a new record one day!

And then in 2026, the real-life CDM goes up to 48, so if we want to keep up with reality, we're going to have to get motivated ;)

I should point out that my opponent fielded a Cameroonian player in the first minute of the match.
The impact is small, I agree, my opponent made the change in the first minute of the match. I just want to point this out because, as I pointed out to my opponent, he kindly sent me packing. Quite frankly disappointed by his reaction, I made a point of pointing out that there are rules, which are the beauty of this competition, and that every manager is committed to respecting them, with the staffing constraints that this represents.
As soon as there is an exception, on the pretext that there is no impact or that the player has not stayed long, there is a form of acceptance of a framework outside the rules. And we all know that the accumulation of exceptions creates chaos.
To sum up, I'm not crying foul to get a victory on a green carpet - I don't care, it's just a game - but I'm pointing out a fact of play that is outside the rules and because my opponent, although he was better than me in the match (which I didn't follow), could have shown some humility. We all make mistakes.
I'll leave it to the passionate volunteers who run this competition to decide what to do next, or not.

Your first message didn't refer directly to the rules. On reading it, it even seemed to be a bit of a dig, hence my reply (which wasn't a direct dig)...
In any case, I know the rules, which is why I made the change after barely 30 seconds of play (as opposed to one minute into the match).
On the other hand, I'm a very fair-play manager, so your jibe at my humility is something you should have avoided.

In short, I'll leave it to the organisers to judge. If you have to lose on the green carpet, don't worry, it's the rules and I wouldn't sleep badly.
