The clash of the generations turned into a masterclass in teamwork. Facing a young Swedish side made up of up-and-coming talents, the English veterans drew on their vast experience to secure a resounding 6-0 victory. Hindered by a major incident, the Swedes played with ten men for 47 minutes – a numerical disadvantage that proved fatal against the English side’s clinical finishing.
First half: Experience dictates the pace.
From the kick-off, the English veterans took control of the game, creating five clear-cut chances. Their clinical finishing was on full display, with three goals scored that quickly knocked the wind out of the young Swedes. For Sweden, the tension was palpable: the team committed two fouls and were shown a yellow card. To make matters even worse, Sweden’s situation became more complicated towards the end of the half when a player was injured. Forced to leave the pitch due to squad limitations, his replacement would not be made until the end of the match.
Second half: The masterclass continues.
After the break, the pattern remained unchanged. England maintained their dominance with four further chances, just one foul committed, and three more goals to seal the victory. The Swedish youngsters, despite fatigue and a more disjointed performance – evidenced by four fouls – still managed to create a chance to salvage some pride, though unfortunately failed to convert it. The final score of 6–0 reflects the British side’s total dominance over a courageous Swedish youth team that was, however, cruelly let down by the course of the match.

The match between Sweden and the Netherlands ended in a goalless draw, 0–0, following a very quiet encounter.
Midway through the first half, Sweden created a chance to score. There were no other notable incidents before the teams went in at half-time.
In the second half, the pace of the match remained slow. A few minutes after the restart, Sweden committed their only foul of the match, which had no consequences. Subsequently, the Netherlands looked dangerous with a goal-scoring opportunity. Both teams played cautiously on the pitch.

Slovenia secured an efficient victory over Sweden in an intense and hard-fought match.
⏱️ First half: a tight, tentative start
The first half boiled down to a tactical battle in midfield, punctuated by a few fouls from both sides. Defence took precedence over attack, and the Swedes were shown the first yellow card of the match following a particularly physical challenge. No goals were scored before the break.
🔥 Second half: Slovenia break the deadlock
The match really came to life after the break. Slovenia looked dangerous with their first chance of the match. Subsequently, the Slovenians displayed clinical finishing, scoring two goals in quick succession and instantly stunning their opponents.
