Yes, there are 2 cups per season.
It seems to me that there was a "bug", which meant that if a club played in the League Cup + was entered in the internal cup of its association ... then it was no longer eligible to qualify for the LDC or VFFA.

I say that because there is a coach who already has 15 cup games scheduled or to be played and maybe more if he qualifies...

We're playing our quarter-final on 10 May and he's playing on 16 May. That means I'm shifting official matches every 3 days. So if I qualify for the semi-final or final, it'll be in the middle of the championship, whereas we could have finished just before the start of the championship...

I don't think so, because I've played a lot of cup games in the VFFA Chalenge and regularly played 1 home game and 2 away games in the group stage.

Either it's a HUGE stroke of bad luck or it's due to various rankings...
