Hello colleagues and friends!
It's off to the Asian-Oceania Cup season 143 !!!
Here are the different hats:
- Hat 1: Japan, defending champions, and Azerbaijan, last year's Asian Cup finalists.
- Hat 2: New Zealand, Oceania champions (hehe ^^) and Vietnam.
- Group 3: India and Laos.
With the exception of hat 1, made up of the two finalists from the previous edition, the VF Index was used to determine the next 2 hats.
Time for the draw ...
Suspense ...
* Asian drum roll
[15 minutes later[/i]
[Group 1[/b]

[Group 2[/b]

The group phase will be played over two legs, making 4 matches. The deadline is 19 October at 23:59.
The top two teams in each group qualify for the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will be played in single matches. Those who finish first in their respective groups host the semi-final.
If there is a tie at the end of this match and no second leg, we go straight to the cruel penalty shoot-out. You send me 2 rounds of penalties (1 round = 5 shots and 5 saves).
The deadline is 27 October at 23:59.
(that should be 1 week to play the half)
[The final will be played over two legs[/b]. There will be 2 weeks left, if I count correctly.
At the end of these 2 matches, to determine the winner, it will be a result, then goal difference and if it's a tie, penalties.
I can only encourage you to play a small final. It can be played as a single match, and I'll leave it to the losing semi-finalists to reach an agreement.
Enjoy the competition.
Good luck!
Have fun

2 Vor MonatenBy the luck of the draw, Group 1 is incredible:
-
on geographical proximity, we are by far the group with the lowest carbon footprint! :)
Having said that, this geographical proximity hasn't always been beneficial, historically speaking (hello Japanese imperialism)... 🙄 -
well, as this is drifting politically, it hasn't escaped anyone's attention that Laos and Vietnam are the only two one-party countries in the competition ...
A real communist roadblock stands in front of the Japanese titleholder!!!!
maxence, champion, we're waiting for you!
enez, there will be no "comrades" between us
Yeah, I'm launching hostilities! 😬

Vor 57 TagenThe second leg between Japan and Laos was played, with Japan winning 4-0 thanks to Shitsi, who scored a historic hat-trick, the first of his career. Subject to the anti-doping test imposed by our opponents this evening ^^.
It's worth noting, though, the magnificent and pitiful performance of our substitute striker, Mitsumoto, who managed to miss two penalties ... Was it an infiltrator from Laos or just one too many glasses of sake on the bench? We're investigating internally

Vor 45 TagenThe deadline for group matches is 19 October inclusive.
The 1st in each group will host the semi-final, in a single match.
The final (and third-place play-off) will be played over two legs.
[GROUP 1[/b]

3 matches, 3 wins, 9 goals scored, none conceded: Japan is where we expected it to be, in 1st place.
With a narrow 1-0 first-leg win over Laos and a draw in the return leg, Vietnam are second in the group on 4 points.
Despite a final match to play, the ranking will remain unchanged. The first semi-final will therefore be played at Jiraya Stadium in maxence97300.
Laos come away with a point, which is still a sign of satisfaction

[GROUP 2[/b]

With 1 draw and 3 wins, Azerbaijan are top of the table and confirm their status as favourites.
On the other hand, Clamsii ... we'll have to talk to his logistics team! ...
It was 2 opponents in the first leg: second leg ... in the end, you host India twice and travel to New Zealand twice ...
There's still the New Zealand/India double-header to organise.
I've just noticed that Arkajyoti Paul hasn't logged in for 6 days, so hopefully all is well, we'll wait until the 19th.

Then read the reminder at the beginning ...
Mathematically, you're sure to come first.
You'll be hosting the semi-final against Vietnam d'enez at the Marcel Dufrasne stadium.
It's a one-off, with home advantage going to the group winners.
After that, the finals in return legs.
I change the formula often, so you have to stay on your toes ... Concentrate!

Vor 41 TagenThe last match of the group was played,
Japan put in a faultless performance, winning 2-1 away in Vietnam.
At the start of the match, we were surprised by in-house refereeing, with a penalty from the start of the game, and in the end we won at the last second.

Vor 40 TagenGiven that we're approaching the deadline for the group stages and that the double-header between New Zealand and India won't be taking place, who will I be up against in the semi-final? Do we take the standings as they currently stand?

Vor 39 TagenYes, Maxence.
Thanks to their draw against Azerbaijan, we'll consider New Zealand qualified.
So you'll have Flohack.

4 matches, 4 wins, 11 goals scored and only conceded ... the defending champion is in form!
Japan will now host the 1st semi-final.
Just 1 goal in the double-header against Laos, and 4 points to take the Golden Star Warriors into the semi-finals.
A satisfactory 1 point against Vietnam, but 0 goals in 4 games... a definite area for improvement!
[GROUP 2[/b]

With the weather and typhoons preventing New Zealand and India from playing each other, the standings remain unchanged.
Unbeaten with 3 wins and a draw, Azerbaijan confirms its seeded status.
The "Odlar Yurdu" team from the Land of Fire will now meet Vietnam in the semi-finals.
A draw against Azerbaijan at home means New Zealand are through to the semi-finals.
The All Whites will take on the Samouraî Bleus at Jiraya Stadium.
A truncated competition. An unfortunately logical elimination.
Single match at home to the group 1 leaders.
Penalties if necessary.
Let's get on with the show!
Good luck to you all!

I was a little worried when I saw my 3 first-team regulars leave for the federation. Fortunately, we were already leading and I was able to make changes to be more defensive, but this little lapse of time was enough for them to create 2 chances!

Vor 27 TagenSemi-final between Japan and New Zealand ends 0-0.
#match?mid=6503895
However, there were no TaB sessions to decide the winner of the match. After checking their licences, many All' Whites players turned out not to be New Zealanders, and they did try to hide them in the stands after just 20 minutes of play, but this was caught by VAR ...
Japan will therefore go through to the final on a procedural error after coming up against a good goalkeeper this evening, against the Azzurri of the famous Clamsii once again.
