I warned Corpus before the match but he had made up his team in a hurry and couldn't connect to make the change.
Normally it's the same rule as at the World Cup, so if a player from outside the national team plays in a match, the match is lost 1-0 on the green carpet.
Does this rule apply if the offending team still loses the match?
I don't know if that would cost me one of the three best runners-up places on goal difference, but it would only be to my detriment if it did.

Italy's road to the euro continues!

After their brilliant victory over Norway, Italy had only a draw to settle against Croatia. After a spirited display against Norway, the Italians returned to their roots in catenaccio mode. Midfielder Gavazzi mistook good aggression for excessive commitment shortly before half-time, which led the coach to play with 10 men at the back throughout the second half.

As in Italy's heyday, the Squadra Azura counter-attacked at the end of the match to win and qualify in first place for the quarter-finals of the euro and dream of a title more than 50 seasons after their last.

The Italians continue their dream run after a 3-1 victory #match?mid=6324146 over Cyprus. Caught cold by Cyprus' early opener, the Italians gave nothing away and enjoyed twenty minutes of madness after the 30th minute to turn everything on its head and hold on valiantly for the rest of the match.

Here they are again, in the final so many seasons after the last one. It's a dream come true, but the final will be against Austria, five-time world champions and five-time European champions, who will be overwhelming favourites in the final. The Italians have nothing to lose and will be doing everything in their power to beat the odds!
