As far as I'm concerned, there's a problem with the mdm. If you don't take one carrot per season, that's because there's a problem. I've been playing vf for 6 years now, before that I stopped because of other internal problems on vf. I've noticed that every time there's a problem another one appears if it's not the cheating it's the mdm that breaks down. I don't mind that and from time to time matches where it makes no sense but sometimes it's really abused especially when you seriously dominate, you know you're going to take a carrot. Après on parle aussi des blessures a répétition exemple déjà 7 blessés et parfois le même joueur va comprendre. I agree that sometimes there are strange matches or injuries but the more we move forward the more the old players stop or want to stop. Because not enough follow-up from the creator even if thanks to him we all play this game. For my part, it's becoming difficult to continue even though I've been playing this game for several years.

I totally agree with you... but in theory, you're going to get answers like "yes, it's known and it's deliberate"... or "yes, but it's normal"... or "yes, but if it doesn't suit you, stop the game"... unless your name and your track record impress and spare you!

The problem is that it's deliberate to have a game with a lot of hold-ups so that everyone can snatch games even if they're AFK or have low stats for 90 minutes.

Back in the day, an afk in a friendly was 30-0, but now everyone wants a chance without doing anything, so I suppose Aymeric has adapted to keep as many players happy as possible.
Otherwise we wouldn't have actions at a maximum of 0.27xG but the possibility of having actions at 0.95xG when the gaps are too big.

Take a look at the game I've just finished. It's hard to go 0-0 with stats like that:

And given that the xGs are too low, I had 18% to draw the game!
So you'll have a ratio of one carrot every 5 games at 2xG for as long as it's impossible to do better.

Skyz: Le problème c'est que c'est volontaire d'avoir un jeu avec beaucoup de hold up pour que tout le monde puisse arracher des matchs même en étant AFK ou a la rue dans les stats pendant 90min.

There's no point in making pointless references or comparisons with a PSG match against a district team from Brittany that would supposedly be unplayable.
In purely statistical terms, such a match would be unlosable maybe once in 100 or once in 500. On VF, therefore, it can be lost in the proportions chosen by the game's creator! And it can even be lost twice in a row for the same club, once out of 30,000 or once out of 50,000, if that's the statistical setting chosen.

Every day there are perhaps a thousand matches played on VF, so why should we be surprised that there are 20 or 30 with an unlikely result and 5 or 6 with a very, very unlikely result?
Of course, it's these matches that we remember and not the other 950 whose results are quite logical or totally logical.

Well, when I look at the overall VF standings or the agreement standings, where for seasons on end the same teams have always been at the top, I think that maybe the statistical settings aren't so bad :) :)

When you crash out in the ldc at this level against a guy who sends 1000 stat at the 80th, you're not having fun at full off. When that same guy has probably the worst xG of his season when he's put everything in front at 11vs10 it's probably because he's defended well too. If I'd finished at 11vs 11 you wouldn't have had this scenario and probably wouldn't have had the same xG.
To base your decision on xG without looking at the scenario is far from intelligent and unfortunately you don't see the first thing he does. The one that leads to a goal.
The goal conditions the match, and my style of play allows me to be dangerous even when defending. Any good player can see that. That's why guys like Alex don't drop the ball against me, or why Socrates waited until he was down to 11 men before letting his horses loose.

It's all my fault. After 15 years of playing without winning anything, I think that my first league cup 3 seasons ago totally messed up the MDM. The proof of this is what's happening this season: after a (first) league title won on the run last season, I've won another league cup this season, reached the 1/8 of the LdC by knocking out Skyz via a monumental carrot, and I'm top of my league at the halfway point of the season... I'm even in the top 10 of the season's club rankings, lol! And yet I've changed absolutely nothing about the way I play, it's just that everything's working out for me: look at my last two league games: stupid timetable, like 4.30pm, I log on in a hurry after 1 hour of the game, normally it's a penalty! But no, 2 rather quiet victories, and well deserved when you look at the xG and the chances.
In short, if you have the feeling that the MDM is going out of his mind, that the 'decisions' he makes systematically go against you or make no sense: that's normal. I think you're just experiencing a massive and brutal rebalancing of the game in my favour. I'm sorry about that, of course, but I had no idea it would affect so many people.
