Hello,
At what age should juniors leave the CdF, and why?
What is the purpose of futsal tournaments?
Thank you for your replies

Hello,

You can field players of any age, and roughly one junior every three weeks; that said, at the moment, the 17-year-olds from Day 1 of the season are the furthest ahead in terms of their overall rating. Futsal tournaments earn your juniors training XP.

Thank you
So there isn’t an ideal age to leave the CDF?

Ideally, 17 years old on the first day of the season is the ideal age. After that, depending on the player’s age and the stage of the season, you’ll have a few points’ advantage or disadvantage. You can analyse this by going to your ‘CDF Promotion’ tab and viewing the transfers made by other players’ managers in the game.

I’m not sure that’s always the case, as the way the youngster’s stamina is calculated has now been changed and it accounts for 20 per cent of the rating.

A player who comes through with a NG of 40 will have a stamina rating of 8, and if he comes through with a NG of 17, he’ll have a rating of 3.

In fact, it also depends on whether you want a player with a high NG and low stamina, or a player with a better balance between NG and stamina.
If you bring him through at the age of 23, he’ll be balanced whatever you do, but be aware that he’ll only know one position (not too much of a problem if he’s a goalkeeper or a centre-back, for example, but much more so if he’s a striker)

In conclusion, I don’t think there’s a single ‘right’ answer when it comes to the ideal time to bring a player through.
