The 30th edition of the VFIFA Copa America is about to get underway!

So there will be 6 matches to win the title and succeed Busy's Cuba.
Matches will be played in a single match at a random location.
The standings will be determined by points, goal difference and, in the event of a tie, the results of head-to-head matches.
There is no deadline, given the format of the tournament, so I'm counting on you to organise the matches on time.
There are 6 and a half weeks left in season 147, so if everyone plays one match a week, that's perfect.

We won't be talking about federations, but about the VFIFA selection, to avoid any confusion.
All matches must be organised via the "friendly match" module.
There are links to other VFIFA clubs/selections, so all you need to do is contact them by PM to arrange a date and time.

He could promote a youngster from the CDF or recruit a free agent to do the 11th.
I have to admit that when I registered, I had a quick look and didn't notice that Mr Raclette only had 10 players ...
And with my late start this season, I didn't realise until I'd done the tables that he actually wanted to play with the VF selection.
I told myself that he was a VFIFA beginner and that he was taking the plunge ... (El Salvador was free on the list).

Despite this mistake, I think that through matches against sympathetic managers, he would be motivated to represent El Salvador in the long term in the VFIFA.
So there you have it ....
So after that, if he's not that motivated, and it seems to be bothering you as far as the calendar is concerned... Well ...
(we're already halfway through the season) ... We can consider a forfeit, and switch to a format with 2 pools of 3, which is what I would have chosen if there were 6 of you ...
I use the championship format when it falls with odd-numbered registrations, even if I find it attractive because it offers 6 matches to everyone (because playing 2 VFIFA matches per season if you're eliminated is a bit tough when you know the effort it takes to set up with your CDF), I have the feeling that a cup format with a play-off match/final is the one that appeals most ...
In short, all that to say that, for the moment, we're staying as we are. I may change my mind (by this weekend) depending on Mr Raclette's reply in PM.

41 dage sidenThe other disadvantage of the championship format is that I can't set a deadline because it's spread out over the whole season... and that puts me under a bit of stress as an organiser, because an unfinished competition is always an admission of failure.
[Don't wait until the last minute to organise your matches!
You can't always play with your best team and play every other day. You have to make the effort to schedule a VFIFA match between 2 league games.

Here we are, gathered for the final match of this 30th edition of the Copa América.
Although this edition is being played as a tournament, it’s a final between two unbeaten teams:
- La Tri, the Ecuadorian national team led by Zébounet, who have achieved a ‘perfect’ record of 5 wins from 5 matches,
- Fafa’s Reggae Boys, who are also unbeaten, but a draw against Uruguay leaves them two points behind.
It’s set to be a real spectacle!!
The atmosphere in the stadium is electric; supporters from both sides have turned out in force.
Oh, and it’s got off to a flying start!
