25 dage sidenIt's the beginning of October and we're heading straight for the end of 2025, which means Christmas and the Oscars.
This year, there are few changes from last year.
For the Oscars there will be several parts (/!\ All the dates have not yet been decided):
1) In October: Pre-selection:
All VF members have the right to choose for themselves the members they feel deserve to be in this year's nominees.
2) Late October/Early November: The Selection:
A selection will be made by professional members based on the public's choices and the merit of a particular manager.
3) During November: Voting
Now that we have our nominees, voting will be open.
As was the case last year, all votes will be monitored, and in the event of cheating or non-compliance with the rules (which was the case for around 5% of votes last year), these votes will not be counted.
4) December: The ceremony.

There will be a few changes this year:
-> A few comebacks in categories that will replace others (Some have shown more particular criticism).
-> Special attention will be paid to the female manager category, to prevent some members from trying to cheat the organisation.
-> An honorary Oscar will be awarded by the VF community itself!
As a reminder: The Oscars is a FREE event, run by a volunteer, with volunteer judges who give hours and hours of their time to keep the VF community happy.
The winners won't receive a trophy at home, but winning a category is an honour, a source of recognition and pride.
We're now at phase 1: Pre-selection, or pre-nominations if you prefer.
It's as simple as that:
In each category you can choose from 1 to 4 (max) members or agreements that you feel deserve to be in the category in question.
EACH CHOICE MUST BE MADE IN MP to myself (Magikcats) to keep your choices secret .
If Mp and not on a google link, I risk having 60 times the same name instead of seeing X 60 votes, unlike nominations. What's more, I'll be sure that it's real people who are going to tell me.
Here are the categories:
1) The Revelation of 2025
The manager (team) you didn't expect and who surprised you the most with their overall results in 2025.
2) The revelation deal of 2025
The team that has made the most progress, or that has particularly stood out in 2025.
3) The best league
The strongest, most difficult league, whose managers also bring back excellent results in the cups.
4) Best female manager
They are discreet, but numerous. Who was the best female manager in VF this year?
5) Best Tactician
He may not have the best team? But every time you play with him it's very difficult to play because of his level of tactics. Everyone has names in their head, opponents they don't like to play just because of that. This Oscar is for them.
6) Best agreement
Like every year, for you, one or more agreements has (have) stood out from the others, and is (are) above the rest, this is where you should mention.
7) Best team without an agreement
Big comeback! Many VF managers prefer to play without an agreement. And yet there are some very good teams among them. Let's show them off, and this Oscar is made for them!
8) Disappointment of the year
The Oscar for disappointment goes to a manager who, because of you and his team, you thought was going to win everything or almost everything, but in the end his results were disappointing, not as good as you expected.
9) The best trainer
The best trainer is someone who trains or has trained a team (at least) of young players and who succeeds in training very good players who will go on to become part of the best VFs.
To be in this category, the manager must have trained for at least 6 months of the year. Perhaps his players are now 24 years old, but he has been training his team since they were 17? Or does he train throughout the year before selling some of his players for a high price? This category will require particular attention for the nomination.
10) Best team
As the name suggests, the best team of the year on VF in 2025.

Golden Oscar
The most prestigious Oscar, awarded to the team that deserves it, that has distinguished itself from the rest on the global stage, for several reasons, be it X or Y.

Nous sommes au début d'Octobre et nous partons tout droit vers la fin de l'année 2025, ce qui signifie Noël, et les oscars.
Cette année, peu de changements par rapport à l'an dernier.
Pour les oscars il y aura plusieurs parties (/!\ Toutes les dates ne sont pas encore décider) :

Last year 97% of the nominees were chosen by the community.
Most of the time, the 4 nominees were those who were most cited in each category.
That's why every choice is important.
And I invite people who have not yet sent me a PM to say who they think deserves to be nominated to do so.

The last 3% are inconsistencies and also to avoid having the same people in all the categories.
Last year, for example, Teddy was the most cited in half the categories. When he was the most cited between disappointment of the year, best tactician, best team etc. ... At some point you have to be realistic and not put him everywhere.

No, you can quote from 1 to 4 per category. After that, if you have a category you don't know about, you don't have to give a name. It's up to you, this is a democracy :)

La majorité du temps c'est ceux qui ont été le plus cité par catégories qui sont les 4 nominés.
D'où chaque choix sont importants.Et j'invite aux gens qui ne m'ont pas encore MP pour dire qui sont pour eux qui méritent d'être nominé de le faire.

Les 3 derniers % sont des incohérences et également pour éviter d'avoir les mêmes gens sur toutes les catégories.
Exemple l'an dernier, Teddy était le plus cité sur la moi...

Don't hesitate to do so, otherwise there's a risk of disappointment when the list of nominees is drawn up.
